Very much a metal guitar but very versatile. The fluency pickups are really nice with a lot of voice options. The neck is thin but not too thin. Very comfortable 7 string.

I must say I’m super impressed with this guitar the neck is ultra thin and super comfortable in my hands. The guitar itself is super light and is balanced perfectly when wearing a strap. The hip shot bridge and locking tuners are beyond great. The tuners are a little touchy but that’s ok.

Sounds great for Tech Metal and death metal, which are what I typically play. The Keith Merrow signature pickups are extremely versatile, the coil tap is extremely good sounding. Highly recommend!

Incredible Guitar. Best KM Version To Date

Product Review
I own the first KM7 and it's an amazing guitar. I've played the KM7 MKII and it was slightly better. But the MKIII is miles above either of the previous KM models. This guitar feels incredible, plays like a dream, and the Fishman KM signature pickups might be the best sounding pick ups I've ever played. This guitar is worth every penny and I'm going to buy the 6 string version as well!

First one I bought had to be returned for non-functional truss rod. Second one came with functional truss rod, but obvious compression of the veneer (leading to a visible ridge), incorrect wiring, and improperly seated nut. I was able fill the gaps between the nut and the board so it looks cleaner now but these flaws should not be present on a guitar at this price point. The positives are that the guitar looks and sounds absolutely gorgeous and is incredibly versatile. Just wish Schecter QC hadn't provided me with one sour and one sweet/sour guitar.

This is by far the worse purchase I’ve ever made. The first one i received was defective and the set up was terrible. The top had indentions in it and the pickups was touching the strings. Returned it and got a replacement . Set up was better but the finish looks like a kitchen counter top and the pickups are noisy especially when in coil tap position. This guitar is extremely over priced. I own 15 guitars Esp ltd, Schecter, evh, Ibanez , PRS, and Prs se models. I have bought 600 dollar guitars that play feel and sound better. Save your money and buy any different make or model.

When I first unboxed this, I could not believe how better it looks in person than in the web. This guitar feels like quality was the priority in making such a guitar. Everything from the hipshot locking tuners to the custom km fishman pickups, this thing rips!! A really aggressive tone and instant chimney cleans with the coil switch. So good I'm gonna buy the 6 string version as well.

I have tried many 7 string guitars, but this one is wow. The ergonomic design as well as the woods make this beast stand out. The appointment of features are stunning as well! Tone, playability, and over all aesthetic makes this a must have in your arsenal!
