Product Rating Product Review BEAUTIFUL Mini-Jumbo! Though It needed a Set-up. The string action was too High. Being a Guitar Tech, I took down the saddle about 3/32, adjusted the Truss Rod, & Changed the Strings to Elixir 80/20 bronze (11-52). The Fretwire ends were Catching on my Hands, so I'll have to File those as well. The sound is Low & Lonesome, Just how I like it. The Body is Lightweight, and easy to handle. The Finish on this Beauty is not quite like the Glamor of Ad---but only the SOUND & Look are all that matters. With the Saddle lowered, & the Action on the neck/strings set right- I Plan on giving it a Work out at my next gig. The 1 3/4" Nut is Perfect for my fingerstyle Playing. If the Neck had a little more wood left on it, this would be a Fingerstyle Guitarists Dream Dreadnaughts don't compare--Purchase this Rustic mini- Jumbo. I've only owned this 5 days--so far so good. This is a Fair Price for this Guitar. It's not worth any More. SEAGULL//AMS RULE!

I think this guitar is solid and made very well.I looked it over many times and found nothing wrong with it. There are no blemishes of any kind. The tuners are very good seagull tuners which do not slip. The tuner is very good and seems to be made well. It isn't plastic and is made by Godin. I have had it only a month,it should last a life time if taken care of properly. Your general opinion of this product. It is, in my opinion, a very nice guitar. Not only is the finish beautiful it sounds great. It has a nice loud voice. I am more than pleased with it. The balance is good. The neck feels good in my hand and seems to be fast. It came set up well and is very playable out of the box. The tuner is very easy to use. I haven't plugged it in to and amp yet so I can't comment on how it sounds. The tuner/controls are in a good place to see them and have easy access to the controls. The tone is mellow and not too dark. Changing the strings may change the tone a bit. Perfect. I like the natural finish. It's beautiful. The neck needed to be adjusted which was as simple as tightening the rod to correct it. The action is set up pretty well at the shop and very playable out of the box.

Guitar is very well made. Seagull (Godin) has a (deserved) reputation for quality guitars, and this mini jumbo is flawless in finish and construction. Don't expect any problems at all. Fit, finish, action, intonation all spot on! Only had it a few days, but not at all concerned. Your general opinion of this product. The Seagull Entourage Mini Jumbo is one heck of a sweet guitar; for the price, it is truly a steal! I have my Martin acoustics and Gibson electrics, so I've done all the big names over 48 years of playing, and I can honestly say that this Seagull is as sweet, in her own way, as any big-name acoustic out there. It's a bit shy on the low end (it's there, but you're not getting that "boom" of a solid rosewood/spruce guitar, nor should you expect to), and the mids and highs just ring with an airy openess that is beautiful (and loud), whether fingerstyle or strummed. Some would say that at this price, it's a beginner's guitar - I say at this price or 2-3 times this price, it is a marvelous instrument for any level player. Oh, and it looks beautiful! And, it's made in Canada by Godin - no offshore outsourcing here! The body is comfortable for couch pickin' or w a strap. The neck is superb, feels just right, and the action is about as low as you're gonna get - clean w no fret buzz, even in lower tunings. The short-scale is welcome and makes fingering so easy, as does the 1.72" nut width. The guitar has just the right amount of heft to it, balanced nicely. Nice open, airy tone that projects extremey well. Even w a solid cedar top, the guitar is just a bit on the bright side, which is what makes its magic! Right between a Martin and a Taylor, I'd say. A very sweet spot to be in, tonally! Beautiful! VERY thin satin finish, so the top will age well (and fast). The burst finish and creme binding are a sweet-looking combination, and really stand out against the "standard" blond spruce-topped guits. Again, that well-earned Seagull quality! Perfect. Nice and low w no fret buzz. Just tune her up and start playing!
