Really full sounding small condenser, no harsh highs and the lows are clean and balanced. Fits in the mix eith no eq.I plan on getting more of these very soon...I am now a FAN of SE microphones!

Using with the on stage surface mount. And Gator 6” gooseneck to wall mount an ambience mic.
Mic is great for ambience and right now it’s helping me get the instruments into the mix

I think this is an amazing microphone. I have recently used it for recording a classical piano recital, and the results are phenomenal! It captures the clarity and authentic sound of an instrument.

It does the job for vocals and instruments with a warm rich sound. I'd buy more SE products like this. Quite a deal for a mic worth double the money. I got the SE 1a and was blown away. This mic is based on that timeless design. Great for snare side, kick, hi hat, overheads, guitar, cabs or vocals. Universally useful.
