Been playing and singing solo act for over 20 years! I have to say this is the best mic in my arsenal! First, built tough, road ready! Second, what's most amazing about this mic,there is No more feedback from background! It picks up your voice and reproduces it without muffle and has sharp clarity! Lows and highs are crisp and clean! In my opinion best in this price range!

let me start by saying the mic sounds great, clear and focused but i find i have to crank the gain past 1 oclk to get the volume and sensitivity up there with other mics such as the EV,AKG-D5 AND 58 WHICH ARE MICS IN THE SIMILAR PRICE POINT. I will say the SE has excellent gain before feedback and stage noise rejection. just beware this is not a HOT mic if thats what you are looking for.

This is my go to vocal mic for live sound. when you sing into it you can hear the background noise dissappear a bit. the mic capsule also sits on a shockmount inside the mic. it's super cardioid so great for stage bleed rejection but make sure to sing directly into the mic because of this. I also don't have to eq as much on this mic compared to others it's very smooth. Experiment with this mic on drums too.

The SE V7 microphone is breaking all the rules. This mic was recommended to me before a live show when my trusty standard mic decided to not work. The V7 delivered in every way. Clear crisp quality sound that cuts through any mix. I ordered the V7 the next day and I've been hooked ever since.

After using a popular mic from another company for a long time, I was looking for something new. I recently had purchased an sE X1 for the studio and since that was an amazing mic, I figured this one would be too.
It is!! It's well made, feels good in the hand, and more importantly sounds clear. Without a doubt I'd recommend this microphone for anyone looking for one.
