These very pickups although slightly modified to his liking have been the main workhorse for slash in all his guitars till his recent signature model pickups came out. Nice fat in your face lows, sparkling mids and the highs scream nice and bright. I'm running them in my les paul gold top 50's tribute and they sound great backed with orange caps and ran through any amp. If you like slashs tone or real hype up blues you'll love these pickups, clean tone is nice but they really come alive with a nice distorted tone. So throw these pups in, crank you're amp and let these babies scream!
