These sound amazing, they are a perfect fit in my mim Stratocaster. They have such a great, natural full sound. I play through a Katana 100 and it pairs really well with these. Couldn't be happier

Two Reviews in One....Red Devils and MojoTone 5 Way Blender

Product Review
Let me begin this review with some history. In the past 25 yrs I've owned 6 Strats. None of them worked for me. Mexicans, American Standard FSR, Indonesian, and an American Deluxe w/S1 switching and none of them ever had the mojo I was looking for. I chalked it up to just not liking the tone of single coils, although I tried. I had done pup changes with 58s, 57/62s, Noiseless N3s, Quarter Pounders, cheap A5s...tried them all and eventually got rid of them all those strats. Finally a few months ago I went for a '96 "under the bed" mint American Standard. Really sweet guitar, but still.....no mojo. I bought a set of these Red Devils, MojoTone Blend 5 Way Strat Blender, and a reverse "Jimi" pickguard. Put it together yesterday. First off....this is not a Gibson LesPaul sounding Strat and I never intended it to be. I have four LesPauls, one SG, an Epi Casino, an Epi AlleyKat, and a Tele with humbucker sized P90 and a wide Range Humbucker in the bridge..so I got that tone covered. I wanted something different, and what I've ended up with was a Strat that has P90 growl with the silence of humbuckers...something short of a miracle? (love P90s, one of my LesPaul customs has them). And the MojoTone blend, (not my first, I had them in a couple of the other stats I mentioned) fits these pups perfectly 250k pots, .47 cap, and a treble bleed. (if you check SD wiring, this is what they recommend for these pups anyways, and it works. I'm use to the 500k, .22 set up) I wish I could post pics of the build here, but I can't. So do yourself a favor and if you're like me and just can't get around single coil...go with this. You'll love it. I do, I finally have a Strat that I want to play for more than just one song. Oh and yes the build was easy, way easy....... all you need is some soldering skill to connect the pups to the blade switch, ground, and included output jack.

I replaced with a upgrade for a more bluesy sound and very proud of my results... I needed the pick ups quickly for a important gig and AMS got them to me the next day before the gig....

Finally a set of pickups to make a strat sound like a les paul. Well worth the money. No other pickups compare. My strat has tone it never had. Installed in a black strat with red tortoise pickguard and rosewood fretboard. Pickups are white. Awesome look.

I wired them up to have single or humbucker sounds with a push pull Pot. With a 5 way switch now I have 10 tones!
