This is a great alternative to carrying around one of my guitar heads that ways 50 pounds. Also to mention it's light but very loud. It's nice because I can throw this in a small carrying bag along with a small multi effects unit and thats my whole rig, except for my cab. Makes things a lot easier for me.

All the headroom!

Product Review
I had gotten this Powerstage 700 to replace my Powerstage 200.
Likes: Tons of headroom, EQ control, ease of use and cab sims.
Dislikes: A bit large for most pedalboards. Obviously pricer than its 200w counterpart.
Very happy I made the jump to the 700.

I love this amp.. this by far is the best amp I have ever purchased. I can put anything in front of it and it has a completely clear sound. And it has a 3 band EQ that I can really dial in my sound after my effects and distortion.

More headroom and volume then you’ll ever need

Product Review
I recently jumped to the modeling world and purchased a Quad Cortex but needed a power amp that would be able to recreate the volume and headroom I have from my normal rig (a 100w Mesa dual Rec) I tried out the 200w Seymour Duncan and it just was short of getting to where I needed before clipping. The 700 is everything I needed. Clean power platform with the EQ ability on the powerstage makes dialing in perfect tones easy. I would recommend this to anyone needing a LOUD power amp to play your modeler loud. Especially Metal/Hardcore. It’s got more power than you’ll ever need.

This is a must have for anyone using modelers. My band uses this as heads and run our pedals into it. Then we run cabs out the back and the amp sims into front of house. It’s literally perfect for our live rig!

Product Review
I bought this to power both a Mesa 2x10 and a Mesa 1x15 Bass cabinet ran in parallel. I run into an Ampeg Scrambler DI Pre-Amp then into the Power Stage 700 and then into the cabs, and I have to say it is plenty powerful! It is also so clean sounding. The guitarist in my Hard Rock band just loves the clean power I get from this rig and I do too! The knobs are simple and responsive, it feels well built and it is very clean and sleek looking. I know these are mainly built for guitarists that use a digital amp modeler, but I am digging it for Bass with the Ampeg Pre-Amp in front of it.

If you use the Headrush, Helix or any multi effects pedals this is your answer. Does what it claims. no more 4 cable hook ups. I run a Headrush pedal board to the powerstage 700 thru a marshal 4x12 cab. Run the board straight in the amp, set my rig (patch) and crank it up. This amp doesn't color your tone. It allows your amp emulator / IR to do it's job, and at a pretty good price.
