Originally bought exclusively for shredding bebop & Charlie Parker on my les paul but it works so well for everything else. Ridiculously good for Eric Clapton’s Cream era sound too. I had planned on it being my jazz guitar but its starting to become my go-to after the pickup swap.

Great Neck Choice

I paired this with a SD JB in the bridge! This pickup is very fluid and sounds clear in the neck position! I was very happy with how it matched up with the JB! The cleans are fantastic and you can rip leads for days!

So I bought two double white Seymour Duncan’s, a JB and this to match. Both are going into my Jackson which has a red satin finish and I just know with the inlays on the neck being black that these pickups are going to turn heads. Can’t go wrong with Seymour Duncan’s so obviously I highly recommend

Awesome tone. On a PRS SE on the neck

Product Review
This one in the neck, a job on the bridge and my Paul Reed Smith SE, sounds excellent. Almost a ringing chime tone. Must buy upgrade with a jb in the bridge. Time and sounds better distorted. A lot better. Plus the breakup tone is so much better. Like guitar hero tone. Pluck light for soft tine but dig in for distortion and you will be amazed how clean to dirty it gets

I put this in my new Epiphone Explorer in the neck position, to go along with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. What was a great sounding guitar transformed into so much more!

Benchmark for a Neck Pickup
By: Alex

Product Review
Obviously pickup/sound preferences are subjective and gear dependent but I think this is definitely a standard for neck pickups. This is hands down my favorite one and I have had it in at least 5 guitars.
It’s warm but not fuzzy, clear but not overly bright, and has sounded great under any level of gain. Great if you play multiple genres.
I primarily play higher-gain styles and the Jazz is great for leads. If you think a ‘59 is too bright, this will do the trick.

Don't let "Jazz" fool you

Product Review
I started loading the SH2N's in the bridge position of a lot of my guitars. I play mostly hard rock but I don't like super-hot pickups. I picked up an old Ibanez RG550 and this was loaded in the bridge. I didn't know until I got it home and played it for a few months. I finally took it out to see what it was loaded with and it was this SH2n. When I buy guitars and don't know for sure what I want to load it with this is my go-to. It performs great in every situation.
