Put it in a 1999 Fender Stage Master H/S/S. Worked great. Sounds better than the pickup that was in it.

Hello, If you really want to get a new sound without buying a New guitar this is what you need. A bit hotter than a PAF but really makes it sing. My favorite and many others for decades.

I'm going to start with this: the JB is not my all time favorite pickup. BUT: I think it is probably the best all round humbucker pickup made. It's useful for everything. Metal? Easy. Blues? Why yes. Jazz? Why are you playing jazz? But yes, probably. It's basically the jack of all trades pickup. I have them in multiple guitars. I'd absolutely suggest it.

This is a phenomenal pick up. I have been using them my whole career and simply can't find a better one. The mid punch you get with them along with just the right amount of heat makes then one the most versatile pick ups I've ever used. And they're indestructible, I've never had one fail. The JB is THE standard.

Excellent Humbucker. You can never go wrong with Seymour Duncan!
This is the TB (TremBucker) version of the JB. It is EXACTLY like the JB except that it is spaced to fit perfectly in a guitar with a Floyd Rose (Or Ibanez) style tremelo).
I slipped this into a Nice Jackson Soloist with only a single Volume Control and use my amp for EQ. If you are looking for a humbucker that's extremely versatile for your moneys worth, this is IT.

Like Seymour Duncan says... "provides slammin' output while retaining singing highs, aggressive harmonics, and just the right blend of sustain and distortion..." I put this in the bridge position of my LTD M100FM (with a Duncan '59 in the neck)and it made all the difference in the world! Highly recommended upgrade!

Your general opinion of this product.
I have this pickup in nearly all my guitars and it's great for rock, metal, blues and almost anything else. It's a little bright, but put in a guitar with a mahogany or basswood body and it really balances out. The tone is the same you'll hear in countless recordings. It cuts really well for solos and has tight bass response for rhythm. Short of calling up Seymour Duncan and having a custom built pickup you won't find anything better.
Duncan IS quality. Never had an issue and they always look great.
Very responsive and has that upper midrange response to cut through the mix.
somewhat bright but balances out a warm tonewood like mahogany. Excellent treble for soloing.
Easy to install. no issues
Looks perfect and packaged well to protect it for shipping.
I have about 7 or 8 of these in different guitars and never had an issue. I don't expect this one to be anything different.

Seymour Duncan has a great reputation, so quality isn't in doubt here. :-)
I've had it in my guitar for over a year and it's help up.
Your general opinion of this product.
It has a good sound in alder.
Some players say the bass feels loose to them, but I disagree. There are settings on your amp that might lead one to believe this claim, but I believe the bass just isn't full-on tight.
I't's not overly bright or too warm, but it's a bit in-between. It's hot, but I still feel like it could use more output. That's just the metalhead in me though. It also has some distortion, but not too much.
Glossy black.
Perfect.
