I swapped out lame JB Trembucker for these Dunc Distortion pups, major tonal difference, especially in output. I went even further by swapping out the pots for Dunlop long lasting pots which really enhanced the tone over the stock pots. Hate to say it but these pups sound way more fluid and alive than active pups, no battery drain worry nor sterile sounding. I’m enjoying these pickups. Oh, I generally play metal/rock music.

Usually these work for me but the guitars I bought these for (Jackson USA KV2 & Jackson USA Soloist) couldn't hang. They have such a deep tone they still came out muddy. Going to trade these in via the Duncan exchange program.
