The Shure sm7b is probably the best microphone for recording screaming vocals. The wind screen design keeps a set distance between the singer and the diaphragm, thus avoiding distortion. This little gem allows you to do that with an inexpensive sm57.

This is an ok filter for the SM57, I wish it were a little more durable. The bottom is made of a thin plastic and my unit did not come with a mounting screw in the package. I had to purchase a bag of 10 of them from Amazon.

Nice extra feature for a sm57.
Works perfect & cuts down the noise.
Even better than a normal windscreen since you lock it down to the mic.

My Shure SM 57 Is one of my instrument microphone to keep it good I must stop from other things from my Mic head because it's used as a vocal Mic or a trumpet flute things get in to the top of your mic and you don't want that that's why I need my aw2 microphone screens I love my equipment to be right for use

I ordered the black version. It looks good, works like it's supposed to and makes a Shure SM57 complete. One caveat: The little screw which holds the unit in place on the microphone is loose in the packaging, so make sure you see it and don't fling the package open or you may never find it again. This is not a flaw, but you need to know.
