If you wanna blow a hundred bucks on really uncomfortable, awful sounding, bodega earbuds, then be my guest. Shure should be ashamed to sell these. I switched to a $10 set from a drug store endcap, and they sound superior. Of all the gear I've purchased in the past year, this was the biggest waste of time and 100 hard-earned bucks.

I got these for a quick in ear option for a gig i had. They performed perfectly. Shure provides different size ear piece foam which helps to find the right fit for yourself. The sound quality was clear and present and there was no crackling or anything from the wire. I have had them a couple of months and i use them often. Its still early but I think they will hold up. They come with a cool case as well. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and I really love American Musical supply for helping poor musicians get the gear we need when we need it with flexible interest free financing!!

The sound isolation is very good. Once you have these on you can only hear what's n your headphones. Sound quality is not the best but manageable.
Cons: not user friendly when putting on headphones. It will definitely take some getting use to.

I recently purchased these after upgrading from MME's. I could immediately tell the difference. Shure is well balanced and more isolated than the MME's. They are extremely comfortable. I am able to hear the piano part at a volume that's extremely comfortable and safe. I will definitely upgrade in the future when the time comes. Shure did a wonderful job with these affordable ear phones.

This is my second pair of these earphones and I love them. I use them for monitors while playing drums. My first pair lasted around three years but then someone connected them to a speaker output and blew them up.
I have complete isolation from all the other onstage instruments and a nice warm sound in-ear.

These headphones sound great but there’s a shortage in one of the headphones from opening the box. Also these headphones don’t stay in my ears well at all. From a gospel musician getting excited at church and shows while playing, there is a way to put your headphones on the ears so it is sturdy, however, IT’S NOT STURDY. There are probably better for studio. But overall they sound wonderful!!

These work very much as advertised. The noise cancellation is great and the sound quality is great. They fit well and are pretty comfortable but I did find that after a 4 hour cover show my ears were a little sore but I think that will happen with anything like this except maybe molded designs.

I grabbed these for the overwhelming amount of good reviews and I can attest to that. They sound very good and clean. The sound cancellation is really strong so be prepared to replace the sound. Even my drummer needs fed to my ears a tiny bit. Well worth the money.

In using the 215’s with a personal stage mixer, I found the response through them, was what I was hoping for. Was able to tweak what I needed to hear from the individual instruments, as well as the vocals.What I’ve found, at times unfortunately, is the quality of the sound system that you’re connected to...has a definite and noticeable affect in what you are or will be hearing. For me the price was right, the quality of these 215’s are spot on, and have had no issues with how they fit.

So I had some Westone quad Rs and honestly these blew them out of the water. My westones Basically fell apart after 3 tours (about 60 shows) And didn’t really do much in the way of noise canceling. Since getting these I’ve been able to hear myself so much clearer and it makes a world of difference. 5/5 especially for the price

For price point that they are at, the Shure 215 earphones are top quality & the best on the market. When my custom molded in ear monitors were stolen a few years ago a friend of mine referred the Shure 215’s to me. I’m still using them today. The Shure 215’s work great for live & studio applications. I hear everything great with no distortion or crackling. The earphones themselves are easy to clean & keep maintenance on. These in-ears gave me the exact flat response monitoring I wanted. I actually thought my bass was loud in the house because of the clarity and increase in volume from my previous headphones. No distortion, with great quality of sound. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking.

I bought these for DJing and Producing and I am not a fan at all. I think the sound quality is terrible, my dre beats sound head and shoulders better than these. There is no bass at all and it just sounds muffled, while on other headphones, and speakers sounds great.
Aside from the average quality. They have an absolutely terrible design that requires wrapping the wires around your ears. Very uncomfortable not good for a DJ who is moving around constantly.

Our worship team uses personal monitors and I was hoping that the 215s would be a good and affordable choice. They were. Be prepared to adjust for the right fit for your ear and practice putting them on before performance. Fit them rig h and they will sound right.

I like these. They're a bit difficult to put in, but after a few times it becomes routine. The sound is decent and when using the memory foam sleeves you get excellent attenuation of external sounds so you can dial in your mix at a comfortable volume. The detachable wire is the best.. much easier to replace that than the entire unit.. and much cheaper. A bit more expensive than other similar buds, but Shure is a solid company that stands behind its products. That is worth paying a bit more..

The SE 215 by Shure is definitely a step up from the standard earphones out there. Great clear sound and bass putting out a solid 100 db. Thick high quality cord that's about a foot to long and plugs that are removable to clean and change out with the included new sleeves. Solid bass and high quality clear sound. An easy choice buying the shure215.

I used this set to do the interpreting during Sunday service at my church. It helps me delete any outside noise while listening a perfect clear voice from the my pastor. This is essential to give an accurate interpretation. They wrap nicely around the ears and the clear plastic is seemless. Comes with extra ear spongies of different sizes and materials and nice carrying pouch to protect them. Will start to use them with my acoustic electric guitar.

I am very displeased with these. I bought 2 pair as I lay guitar and bass in a worship group and I use in ear monito when I play out . As of today both pair have blown. Right in the middle of playing today. I can't afford more expensive ones but I am so upset with these and the response I got from sure. Don't waste your money. And I have only had these six months.

I'm a volunteer Worship Leader on the weekends, and I play in an unsigned band in the Seattle area; we use in ear monitors for both. During the week I am a Social Worker for the State of Washington's Children's Administration. I have a wife and a kiddo. Needless to say, I'm on a budget.
For the last couple of years I've been using generic, $10 buds from Target, which have been ok for my purposes, but I've never been truly happy with my mix, regardless of how much I tweak my own mix. I play electric guitar and sing, and I just could not get either sounding right.
Enter the SE215s. Talk about clarity! I used a friend's at a recent gig and just HAD to order myself some. Very clear, balanced sounding headphones. I can only imagine what the 315s and up sound like!
AMS was great. They sent me a $10 off coupon for my birthday month (February) and had these here in two days - I ordered Thursday and it's now Saturday, meaning I can lead worship with these tomorrow morning. Thanks AMS!

These sounds great, even though I don't have them completely broken in yet. The sound is pure and well balanced.
They seem extremely well built and sturdy.
They fit awkwardly into the ear canal and really are a pain to take in and out. The cord is also really thick, which helps reduce tangling and improves sound, but makes it much less bendable which is a problem considering the design is such that the cord goes around the ear.
$100 for a pair of earphones is a lot for most people, including myself. But you get what you pay for here, and perhaps even a little more than what you pay for.

This is a well made product and once I figured out how to put it on correctly I can't see going without wearing these earbuds!
The sound isolation is great and so is the bass response. All the other tones fall into place.
This is a fairly easy product to use. I put it in incorrectly the first time I used it and was not pleased with the results I was hearing. Once if figured out how to correctly wear these earbuds a whole new world of sound was opened for me.

For the price of these earbuds I am totally pleased with the overall sound quality. These Shure earbuds are certainly going to get used every time I practice and play gigs!
Value? You bet! These earbuds have fantastic sound. I can't place a dollar value on how these earbuds have improved my vocals now that I can hear the band members and myself so clear.

I've had mine for about 2 weeks which means 8 shows, and so far so good.
The best feature of the product is the clarity of sound even at high volumes. I use these on stage and as a drummer have perfect isolation of all the instruments I need to hear.
The earphones come with 6 different earbud covers (foam and rubber) to gurantee a perfect, snug, sound isloating fit.
Excellent value. I see no difference between these and some models which are more than twice the price.
