Not for singing

Your general opinion of this product. This mic produces almost no low frequencies. It has a cold brittle tone ,and the output is very week. I bought this to use singing harmony while playing drums. I've tried several equalizers and this mic has no lows to enhance. I like sure products, but I wouldn't recommend this mic. This headset is well constructed ,and should probably last a long time. You do have to tighten the boom really tight or it will move. The headset is very easy to put on and position. This mic is too small for a dynamic mic. It's the size of a lot of the condensers out there. This mic is not a good mic for singing.

extremely well made most shure products are bulletproof i do a solo act on guitar and uke and having a headset allows me to interact so much more with the audience! this is as easy as pluggin a standard mic in,but i did have to add a tube mic preamp which just made it sound wonderful.it would be nice to have some more gain right out of the box,but very full sounding started off pretty thin and lacked gain but i coupled it up with a art tube preamp around $30 voila it really came alive no problem with feedback.i'am strolling with this with a cable, not the optinum setup but what i could afford, hope to go wireless in future.some noise from preamp but their is directions to cure that from art.have done 2 shows so far and it really helps the performance, great buy!!!

I thought by all the reviews, that this mic was hard to get a good quaility sound. But I ordered it to see for myself, It sounds great and I have no problem getting a great sound. I wish they had an on/off switch on it.

yes, have used it 15 times with no problems, the mouthpiece gets wet but doesnt seem to effect sound or short out adjustable mic in or futher out as needed, also tilts from side to side for adjustment pull out of box plug in and go, sits on your head nice don't notice it much i have used it with a big system or my 4 channel system, i have even plugged it into my guitar amp and used it
