I'm not saying this is the best microphone out there, but at this price point you can't really beat it. I'm using it as my hi-hat microphone. It's less than half the price of a KSM137 or KSM141. I'm really happy with this purchase. I got one of the "open box" items at a discounted price. The only thing it was missing was the shrink wrap from the factory. Would've thought it was a brand new unopened item if it wasn't for that. Don't sleep on this one.
