Believe the hype, this is an ambient tone machine. So many options and variations it's mind blowing. The shimmer when used properly is one of the best I've ever heard. Every algorithm is musical and useable. Pair it with the Nemesis Delay and wow, just wow.
There are some potential downsides depending on your use case so be aware. To unlock the full potential you need to edit with either the phone app (almost useless now that most phones do not have headphone jacks), or the Neuro App on a PC. Also the number of available presets opens wide when you use with MIDI, otherwise you are limited to how many you can switch between on the box. Aside from these minor things, it's an amazing pedal.
For the best results use in a stereo rig with a MIDI controller and be amazed!

Basically everything plus the kitchen sink that would need for a reverb pedal in a fairly small footprints. The Neuro editor is simple and easy to use and the midi functions are equally amazing. The sounds that SA have come up with in this magical little box is well worth the price and a lot more. From cavernous dwells to the old school spring, these reverbs will find a home in your setup.

This gear was more than expected. I was alittle nervous buying this but the reviews were good. I tried it. I was completely satisfied. The other guitarist complimented my tone saying I sounded so "full." I did. The reverb was great with exceptional quality and sustain. I was impressed. I was going to buy a big sky but I am glad I bought this.more options with this pedal.

This pedal is great. I have several other high end reverb pedals and this one knocked them off the board. I actually find this pedal to be stronger than my timeline especially with the editor and that is saying something. Totally recommend to anyone.

After a TON of research on reverb pedals, the Ventris finally ticked all of my boxes. Small(er) form factor, quality sounds, stereo, preset options and midi capable. I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality of sounds that come out of this and the software provides even more flexibility. It will be a long time, if ever, that this gets replaced on my board.

Source Audio really outdid themselves with this beast of a pedal. The design is exceptionally well thought out, the unit itself is built like a tank, and the quality & quantity of effects that can be coaxed from it - well, you’ll have to search out some vids and/or demo one for yourself. Easily one of the best available, IMO, at the time of writing. ????????

Full dusclosure: I use this pedal with keyboards, not guitars. I own the Strymon Big Sky. I love the Strymon Big Sky. The Ventris Dual Reverb is BETTER. The sounds right out of the box are amazing and eminently breakable. Using the downloadable editor is a breeze and makes all sorts of adjustments not available on the front panel instantly available. Save your changes as a preset and you're good to go. It's really very easy. My preferences, as a keyboard player, run toward the ambient sounds, but there's not a bad reverb on this thing. Having it be a DUAL reverb allows one reverb to run into another or you can run two different reverb in parallel. It just simply sounds inspiring!

I've been trying various reverbs to satisfy my electric as well as acoustic needs and this is the one for me. True spring is awesome, E-dome is incredible the processors it al, sounds so lush. If your looking for the ultimate reverb this is it. Get it you won't regret it.

Good reverb is my favorite and most used effect. As the cheap and limited reverb in my Boss ME-80 left me wanting, I spent several days watching reviews and demos of reverb pedals to pair it with, mainly the Ventris DR, Walrus Audio Slo, and the Eventide Space. I landed on the Ventris as it had the cleanest sounding reverbs, a great blend of traditional and trippy flavors, and a very well designed, easy to use interface. And two discrete reverb engines? Stacked or separate? Infinite sustain on one while jamming on the other? Stereo ins/outs? Hell yes. The only feature I wish it had was a headphone jack, as I have to use a headphone amp for practicing. I am thrilled with how good it sounds, it does everything I want and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of what this monster is capable of. I haven't even experimented with the mobile and web apps yet. I've had this for about a month and I continue to watch videos of other users on their journey of discovery for cool ideas. This thing is worth the money. And the usual hats-off to AMS for the great payment plan!

The ambient sounds and textures this pedal creates are very lush. There are so many sounds that you can get by combining settings, it’s unreal. I was also surprised at how easy the pedal is to use. The reverbs are excellent. It’s a very useful tool as I play guitar in a Praise and Worship Band where ambience is key.

Most powerful reverb on the market hands down. In 35 years of playing professionally I’ve tried them all. The only other reverb I’ll use now is a 1970 fender tube reverb. This however fits nicely on my 42” pedalboard. It’s very powerful, especially when run stereo. I use it with a Marshall jvm410hjs & a 1965 fender blackface. Love the dual engine. With the neuro app there is no reverb sound that can’t be created with this thing. Build quality is awesome too.

Such a fantastic reverb pedal. I was brand new to Source Audio but heard some good things and decided to go for it. Wow. The dual reverb feature is amazing and it's so easy to get great sounds and combine/blend them. It honestly caught me off guard. I'm used to using pedals with such a wide range of sounds having a steep learning curve but this was not the case. Then you dig in and it's seriously amazing what's possible. I could totally see this costing $1-200 more, though I hope for anyone who hasn't bought this that it doesn't happen!

Source Audio weren't kidding around when they designed the Ventris. I usually suffer from FOMO if I dont buy the latest high -end big-name processor, but in this case I dove in and ordered the Ventris and have been blown away at the beauty and fidelity of the algorithms.
and am 100% without a doubt cured of Strymonitis.
Get one from AMS on their easy payment plans, like me and drone deep.

This reverb replaced my Descent. Up to 8 onboard presets, ability to run 2 reverbs at once, and in depth tweaking with the Neuro App make this an awesome pedal. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a super versatile reverb.

If you want a reverb with it all, this is it! I used to have that big blue box, you know the one. Notice I said, "used to." This pedal is easy to use, especially using the software program, and it sounds unbelievable. I usually run it Mono but have used it stereo a few times and the sound is ridiculous. It's pristine, crisp and clear, unless you don't want it to be. I can't imagine ever using another reverb.

This is an amazing product. It is infinitely tweakible,but is easy to use. Usually you get one or the other. The sounds are lush and warm. Highly recommended !
