This guitar hanger was perfect for me. I hung 7 guitars using these hangers. I hit studs for each one because it worked out well. The hangers fit every one of my guitars - 6 string acoustic, 12 string acoustic, Tele, Strat, Les Paul, Resonator, and bass.
No quality issues. They look great and have a great design.

Anchored to a wall stud, the String Swing isn’t going anywhere. Zero wiggle or wobble. Even better, use some 3inch high quality screws and never think about it again. Nicely padded and slip free arms won’t mar.

Other than that solid hangers!
Still wouldn't trust it with a long scale bass though.

First time I used this brand of guitar hanger. It's very well made, sturdier than the others I have, and looks good on the wall. The instructions say to use the mounting screws as pilots for the screw in drywall anchors. Didn't work for me. I drilled with a 5/32" bit and had no problem screwing the anchors in. Excellent hanger!

My studio is a mess. I've got cables running across the floor, mobile keyboard stands that change position throughout the day, and young kids who love to grab anything that looks expensive. So this product was a must -- I've got it mounted high up on the wall so it's not only out of reach, but it makes my guitar look like a decoration when not in use.

It’s just a perfect product for a perfect price. They come with all the hardware you need to mount them and mounting takes no time at all! Once you hang your guitars on the wall, you won’t want them to be displayed in your home any other way.

I bought two of these. One for my electric and the other for a Martin Acoustic. (I have four guitars that I normally play and I am short on space). I setup my amp and PA system in a normal size closet so I could just open the doors and plug and play. I installed these in just a few minutes and then hung my guitars. The oak looks good and it so easy to grab the guitars and play. I highly recommend. I might buy two more for my other guitars to hang on the wall instead of keeping them on floor stands.

I gave it 4 stars only because of the whole nitro thing…
Its a great product, does exactly what it is supposed to, and it comes with everything you need to safely install it on the wall.
However, the packaging (and this is on all the manufacturers of guitar stands) says that the foam "may" react to certain nitro finishes. Why can't these things be lined with felt, or some other cotton fabric that nitro does not react to? Half of my guitars have nitro finishes on the neck, and they have been reissuing vintage era guitars for over 20 years, why is this still an issue?
So I cut up an old T Shirt and wrapped it around the fork, just to be safe. It looks like crap now, but at least I don't have to worry about destroying a $2,000 guitar (or 2 of them).
Can we please have ALL guitar hangers/stands be designed for nitro finishes? Is that really too much to ask for?
AMS Responds: Marty, you bring up a good point. Although it seems to be minimized in recent years there is always the risk that the foam/rubber padding on a stand can possibly react to a Nitro finish. If your guitars hang from wall hangers or live on a stand when not being played then wrapping the cradles in cotton material will prevent this potential reaction. Try sewing material in a tube shape to slip over the foam/rubber cradles of the stand. Just beware that material could be a bit slippery.

I bought this to hang my guitar within reach on the wall in my house. It works fantastic. Nicely made, looks great, and is padded well to protect the instrument. Great for anyone who wants to just "grab and play" throughout the day or for those with tiny hands or paws around to keep your guitar up out of reach. Couldn't ask for better!
