What I really love about this design is not only how clean it looks but also how much closer the guitar hangs next to wall which actually helps me from not bumping into my guitars as I walk past. Additionally because the base plate is metal and not wood it feels much sturdier when mounted to the wall.
String Swing already makes great wall hangars and I love that they have added this design to their line up.

I've been purchasing Swing String guitar hangers for years. The design has changed a little bit over the years, with the hanger shape changing a bit in order to accommodate different neck sizes and still be able to provide a good 'grab' on the headstock. I'll continue to purchase these because of the excellent quality and durability. I like being able to hang guitars and basses and not have to worry about the hangers degrading over time.

As long as you attach to an appropriate beam in the wall, these things aren't going anywhere and hold your guitar very well and away from the wall.

This thing is sturdier than the wooden version. If your going to be hanging a bass I would go with these. Holds up my 12 pound bass no problems. These sit closer to the wall so turning the hanger screw in too much will scratch your wall!

Nice solid base and mounting hardware/anchors. No worries about this falling with a guitar hanging on it. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't swivel, but not that big of a deal.

Decent product. All 4 of mine are stud mounted, but from my experience with carpentry the included anchors will hold the hanger securely and support any commercially available guitar if installed properly.

Easy to install. No stud where I wanted to hand but the anchors appear to be up for the task. I was able to use these to hang both my mandolin and uke by simply bending the hook in a bit to accommodate the smaller headstocks. Got these on a two-for-one deal and I am happy!

be sure to find a stud or use anchor bolts . the hanger came out of the wall injuring my dog

Found the stud and screwed it in, Looped my guitar strap over it and stepped up...WOW 200 lbs and it held...these hold all 11 of my basses and I wont us nothing else. Try that with your hanger...I didn't think so...dl

I bought two of these hangers to get my guitars off the floor. They were well made and appear to be plenty strong enough for the job. The hooks hold the guitars securely.
They come with drywall anchors if you need them, but I was lucky enough to find studs in the wall at just the right locations.

I bought 3 of these to have more room in my studio. It was the best money I've spent. I have more room and my guitars look great on the walls and not on the floor stands. I will by more as time goes on.

Well made, attractive and it does its job. One of the several that I bought was for a 12 string guitar and I was not sure that the extra wide neck would fit, but it barely did. I was able to bend the hooks outward a little more to give a bit more clearance. I think that String Swing makes a wider hanger for classical and 12 string, but nobody seems to carry them.
