Your general opinion of this product.
product was great. not expensive, but great sound. I have it running with a Stanton M203 mixer to my MPC2500 and everything is great. Very easy to use but I also wanted to give AMS credit for their great service. I ordered and split my payment up in 3 parts but the most awesome thing I saw which I have not seen before is that they gave me a heads up email 5 days before charging me that they were doing so. Seems like a little but it meant a lot to me because I've dealt with companies that bill on random days without warning and I might not have all the correct money in the right account so I really appreciated the thought of giving me a notice. Overall I am 100% satisfied with the purchase and AMS has a customer for life

Nice item for the money, but lacks certain key features...

As heavy as this item is, there is still quite a bit of plastic involved. Seems to hold up well, and is very sturdy for it's construction.
Could use a few more features like what is on the STR series. Torque is a bit less then anticipated. Lags on start-up, and if you are a turntablist that likes to scratch, it can be done, but the platter seems to want to drag a bit upon release.
If you are looking for an entry level, no frills, dependable turntable, this may be something you would be interested in.
Good sound, no complaints.

I was looking for a pair of turntables to compliment my Denon DN-S3700's w/ Rane's SL-4. The T.62's overall are a nice unit for the price. But, you get what you pay for. After having the opportunity to see the STR series up close and personal, I will be upgrading very soon as they operate more closely to my 3700's.
For the price, it was worth the try. However, these particular tables don't suit my needs...

Great for Beginners!

I was worried it might not be the best quality, but it seems like it's built really solid!
Comes with a sweet straight tonearm. Having had very little scratching experience, I think that it's the way to go. Would be a 5 if it had a better slipmat. The one that comes with it doesn't lend itself to scratching, but I'm new at it and I may just have heavy hands.
Pretty simple set up. I was surprised that it was so easy. You don't need any tools or anything. The hardest part was floating the tonearm. The manual is sparse, but helpful. It comes with a big guide on how to set it up.

Very solid. I just might buy a second one someday. It's a good intro turntable. I've never even touched a Technics, so take this review with a grain of salt.
Most def!
