Product Review I've never owned a Steinberger instrument before, so I was shocked at how well this bass sounded & performed !!! The tone is "AWESOME" !!! Unbelievable Sustain !!! This bass is travel friendly. It's small, but it has weight !!! All in all more bass for the money !!! Oh, and the Humbuckers sound "EXCELLENT" !!!

Product Review After seeing 1/2 players playing it, ones that I looked up to, I grabbed one (thinking I was part of a select few). I noticed more and more bass players with it. After playing this bass for a few months now, I love its light weight and compact body, allowing for me to be more physically active on stage. It’s great when packing it into a car or tour van/bus. Just make sure you get a roadworthy case for it, and it can go anywhere! Keep the tuning pots greased, so they don’t seize up on you. Other than that, it’s a great bass with great low-end and good sustain. Does everything I need for the reggae music I’m playing. Save space and get you a XT-25! Cheers ????

Product Review Great bass overall I love it so much! Very comfortable saves your shoulder and balance is perfect. This bass highly portable and hardly takes up any space even with the hardcase. I love using this bass for gigs its got great stage appearance and most of all if you are playing on a tiny stage you will not have to worry about smacking your guitarist or lead singer in the back with your head stock anymore! The only miss this bass has are string options, there are not a lot of double ball end strings to choose from and are even more limited with the 5 string. There is a converter that you can buy to solve this problem that lets you use normal strings.

Product Review I was looking for a travel Bass and had been wanting to start to keyring with a 5 string. This fits the bill perfectly. And it had a good sound too

Product Review My first trip with a headless anything. I have a hand injury and was concerned about the scale but it actually works pretty good for me. The lack of body takes some getting used to. But it's not bad. I like it

Product Review I don't expect to get a top quality bass for this one's price point, but I have had more problems with it than I expected. The first one I ordered had a bow in the neck and I couldn't even attempt to correct the issue because the hole for the truss rod access was off center making it impossible to get the allen wrench in position. I returned it for another one - Customer service was awesome! - The second one has also had some minor neck issues, but I think I have got them mostly ironed out, though I am a little irritated to have to do this kind of maintenance on a brand new instrument. I am also not too impressed with the pick ups, but I sort of expect that on a bass under 500.00. Plus I'm kind of picky :) I have not changed the strings yet, but the double ball set up looks pretty straight forward. The tuners are pretty easy to get used to. Because of the small body and how the strap connects, it puts the neck out a bit further than a standard sized bass. I have read some complaints about that, and it took a bit to get used to, but I think it is one of the fun quirky things about the instrument. It also has a '0 fret' instead of a nut that helps give it really good sustain, but I have also found that I need to work a little harder to mute string noise. I find the small body comfortable to play and it has a little kickstand you can use in the sitting position that works well. All around despite it's flaws, it is a fun quirky little bass to play but I also feel compared to an original Steinberger it is only a shadow of it's former self
