I bought this as a spare, but after unboxing, assembling, and tuning her up? I was surprised by how good it actually sounds. Solid snare for the money. My only complaint is the throw off feels a bit flimsy. Other than that? Solid purchase.

This snare has a great sound and with the right heads sounds like a 600$ snare! Love the flat black look as much as I like the sound. Is a fantastic deal.

I love this especially at the price point. I have the 14 x 6.5. With the stock head it takes a while to find the sweet spot to tune it to but I got a great sound when I had it tuned to an E3. I swapped out the batter head with a Evans HD dry, and it sounds like a Thunder clap.
