Stands are a little lighter in weight than I am used to. They're cool for thin to medium weight cymbals, but I wouldn't recommend these for heavy rides or rock weight crashes and chinas.

I purchased 4 of these stands, sight unseen as I am just getting back into acoustic drumming. I then purchased two more, so I have six total. They are a very good, low priced cymbal stand. These are not the super heavy duty stands I used in the 90's, but they are decent stands, especially for the price. You can get much better stands out there for more money. My set is not going to be gigged and it will only move when I move out of my current place into my next, so I don't need stands that are going to survive gigging out. I would buy them again. If I was going out gigging, I'd invest in something more heavy duty.

It's not a bad price for two working boom stands, but be warned, you get what you pay for. I don't believe they are going to hold up to the rest of time. They are not extremely sturdy, and they are rather thin in comparison to most cymbal booms I've ever owned. Certainly like high-school level cheap budget buy. But they work great in a pinch, and are far better than the two taped up, breaking stands I had...

After receiving cymbal stands and simple assembly, they were a lot heavier than expected. The construction and design was well thought of. The finish is equal to any top brand on the market. Will use them to see how durable they are, and looking forward to ordering other products in the near future from AMS. Also the pricing was a major player in the decision to purchase as well.

Anyone on a budget like myself might wanna check these tama double braced stands out. Very good quality and not a generic brand. Thinking about purchasing another set. They can interchange from a straight stand or a boom stand. Very good buy. I give 5 stars and definitely recommend.

While these aren't "heavy-duty" stands meant for touring, they will absolutely get the job done. The ability to convert from a boom to a straight stand is a huge plus at this price point, and the Tama wingnuts are much easier to adjust than your typical units.

Not what I would consider road worthy gear unless you have a very light set. I got these for my "silent" kit at home and are just holding up some low volume cymbals but they look nice, have plenty of features (like the ability to transform into a straight stand by concealing the boom arm in the tubing and reversible cymbal sleeves. Tho I'm not sure what you'd have to be doing to your kit to need them replaced?) All in all, save for FedEx dragging their feet getting my stands to me, I'm certifiably happy with them

These cymbal stands are amazing!! They’re great for gigs and the adjusting you can do literally gives you every angle and does it with ease. The only issue is that they’re a little weak when it comes to stacking 2 16”+ cymbals. The clamps tend to loosen up but that’s the only downfall. Over all though, Amazing stands !!!

I was pretty impressed with these cymbals stands after being a little skeptical that with how cheap they were price-wise. They are VERY sturdy and don't move at all when I play hard on my cymbals. My only gripe is that the boom arms are pretty short, as in under 2 feet short. If you need a cymbal stand with a long boom arm, these may not be for you. Luckily, both cymbals I needed them for didn't require the boom arms to be extended much. They break down very compact as well. Overall, very happy with these though they should redo the picture to show how long the boom arms actually are.
