I've played for over 40 years and never played a better pedal. This pedal more than doubled my kick speed and for an aging drummer that is important. The design of the pedal with the cam shifted forward makes all the difference. I highly recommended this pedal and this company for allowing to make payments. Musicians need all the help we can get.

Man, these pedals really are something special, i was a little skeptical about the aesthetic of the pedals, as I've always been in love with the original iron cobras. But i got over that really quickly once i set em up. These pedals feel like you're playing on clouds in the sky, such a smooth, consistent glide and consistency in hit power.
12/10!!

I knew from many other drummers I spoke with that this pedal was top tier along with a few others before direct drives. I’ve been an iron cobra supporter for a long time so this was a no brainer for me. The smoothness and response is brings my bpm much higher and more accurate!

Speed is right! It's been a long time since I've played double bass regularly so I'm pretty sloppy but even just single-footed playing has improved. I feel faster, more precise, and like I have an expanded dynamic range too. I've used Axis A21s, DW 5000 and 9000, original Pearl Eliminators, and plenty of others and I really think these are the ones for me. Sure, my preference could easily vary from yours, but I think these are worth checking out. The Cobra coil was a little odd at first but I like how it's adjustable and removeable (though I didn't remove it). It's just nice to have that level of adjustability, which applies to many parts of this pedal. It's not as adjustable as the DW 9000 in some ways but I think they got the feature set correct. Okay, now back to re-learning double bass!

This is by far the fastest and most stable chain driven pedal I have ever used. The longer pedal board gives you the extra power and comfort to play any style from speed metal to jazz. The speed cobra’s recoil spring under the pedal helps return the pedal to allow easy bouncing for those quick fluttering jazz beats and helps to throttle the power giving you more volume control with ease! The beaters are great as well. They provide a solid “thump” while being durable. To finish it off, the gold accents give you the VIP rockstar feel! Definitely a 10/10 or 5 stars for this one!

Have to get use to after using the dw9000 that requires so much to get them to respond, I would think for a long gig or concert a microphone on the kick would be more enjoyable due to not having to put in so much compared to my dw 9000 series. The speedcobras are a nice change for me in my opinion...

Had a few previous opportunities to demo this pedal, and finally was able to buy one for my kit. It's simply an amazing pedal with great feel and great fine tuning adjustment features. Highly recommend this pedal to every drummer on the fence about what pedal to get!!

I have played many pedals in my lifetime. I am 61. So you say, why do I need double pedals? Just wanted a little change in my life. Boy has it changed it all! These are great responsive pedals, smooth and very easy to set up. These are very well worth the money! Thank You AMS!
