I really love the fact that you can split your payments up equally, and pay it back within that time frame. Some people don’t have the full amount to pay everything all at once but really needs the instrument or product of what they are buying right then and there.

As soon as you lift the box you know this snare is going to be something else. I've got a steel snare already, but its nowhere near as heavy as this beast. First look at it and it's just beautiful, the matte nickel is a really cool look. But I immediately cranked the heads up (it comes with a Real Evan's G1 and 500snare side) to a meaty G3, and *sheila broflowski* BUBUWBWABWAHHHHT? This thing is on another level. Tama outdid themselves with this thing. It's easily, easily, so dang easily comparable to classic recording snares costing double, even triple the pricetag! A Luddy Acrolite could easily be outdone by this snare... and it is, I know for sure, and this is with the heads it arrives with... I mean that id is unheard of. Don't waste your money on something more than this, if you've got a $5-600 budget, you just saved some money cuz you only need $250. I dare you to try it and find out. You can't go wrong. It will outshine so many snare drums
*side note* I think its selling it short when describing this snare as a hard rock and metal specific. It can be tuned many ways and can definitely serve whatever needs you have.

This snare is perfect for the price!! I bought this snare as an upgrade to my stock snare. Initially I was skeptical about how well this 8 x 14 in would sound with my kit. However, after playing it I was really impressed. The snare has a deep loud sound, that cuts through the rest of the kit. I would highly recommend this snare!!! I also received a free case with it!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Great full bodied snare. Rim shots sound huge with the included triple flanged hoops.The snare was sensitive enough using an Evans Genera Dry that I put on. I did not try the stock head. The build quality is on point as Tama always is. I hate to say it but it sounds as good as my snares costing 3 or 4 times the price. Got great compliments from the sound engineers.

This is the best sounding snare I have had. It tuned up and blew me way. It a so much fun to play that I can’t get enough of it. I have snares that cost two times what this one did and it makes them sound cheap. Love it.

This sounds amazing out of the box...even with stock head...have it tuned way lower than I'm accustomed to...can't wait to experiment with different tunings...highly recommended...and at this price(with a bag) you can't go wrong!!

I’ve had this snare for a little over two weeks and I haven’t even changed heads yet. The Evans 360 g1 head that originally came with the snare is a great quality head, just enough thickness and bounce. The sound quality is amazing. Perfect tones, deep with that nice snap that I love out of a snare. Steel snares are definitely the way to go, especially for rock music like I play. Comes with a cool drum key and nice carrying case as well. Worth every penny.

I bought this drum to use with my Tama Starclassic and it sounds amazing! It’s tight, responsive and just dry enough for my needs. I played an 80’s Acrolite previously and this snare blows it away. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!
