I needed my choir rehearsals recorded the choir ask me would this be possible I said yes so I went on line to american musical supply and there was my third tascam recorder dp-006 it does a fantastic job the choir was very pleased with the recording and how clear and crisp it was we are very pleased

Ok well I have read the Manuel and found it to be clear and understandable even at a beginners stand point. As soon as I got my first track down I could not stop stacking them together and using the controls to get the sound I really wanted.

This is a powerful multi track recorder for the size. I was recording In minutes after unboxing. Everything is laid out nicely and easy to find. I have a larger 16 track recorder and wanted this as a "scratch pad" I couldn't be happier with this little unit. Pick up one today and see for yourself. You'll love it too!!

This unit is by all standards is great tool for quick recording song ideas. I have 3 other tascam recorders and they exceed my expectations and are of high quality and are very durable. Plug and play that’s what it is all about!

digital is alittle harder than the older recorders , but once you read the manual and gain experience the dp oo6 is the best one for the best price . i have owned one for three months and i have easily gotten great results . i do recommend this product as it certainly has met my expectations !

This was my first time using Digital recorder and it works great. I bought it for my 16 year old son and he use it all the time with are without a mic. It’s very sensitive and picks up every detail sound plus it runs by battery and are chord.

Was able to make a decent recording. 2 internal microphones not bad. I haven't had a lot of time to figure everything it does out. But YouTube helped me get to know the unit pretty well. 5 stars if it came with a power cord. But it only comes with 4 AA batteries which won't run the unit much more than 9 hours. This really is a great "sketch pad" for song writing and getting song ideas down fast!

I’ve recorded a few songs but it’s hard to get a clear sound. It’s almost like you have to use the mics that are built in and you have punch in punch out clicks every time. Does the job. I just wish the line in settings were more clear.

I love cornerstone gear, and this is one of my favorite pieces. I once recorded an entire album with just this box. Right now what I use it for is going from my tape machine to digital for uploading to the internet. Infinite bounce, the mics are great for relatively great lofi, and it is slow on batteries.

i like this little recorder. I have used its 24 track older sibling 2488. and its ease of use is great, i am happy to use this for my voice over projects. the only con i have is that i wish i could use SDXC cards with it. Tascam please make it happen. using 64,128 or 256 GB cards would be great.

This is basically a bare bones recorder. That being said the recordings are pristine and this thing is super easy to use. You can go wrong with this if your looking for simple and yet great editing and track bouncing capabilities

I was going to buy this from AMS, but I noticed that the Tascam 006 has a BUNDLE PACK, which comes with Tascam headphones, batteries, a tripod stand, a 16 gig Sim card (not like the 2 gig AMS is including), a dust cloth, a headphone adapter, an auxiliary cord, ad TWO 1/4-inch cables! All for $170 at another "music surplus store"! Just search "Tascam 006 bundle" on the internet! Why is AMS charging so much for so little! This unit alone is only $129 elsewhere!

This machine works great for me I used a tascam 414 cassette recorder for years this is on par with that .Ive found it pretty easy to use I haven’t used every function yet but it’s pretty user friendly if your like me and don’t need a ton af tracks and all the bells n whistles it’s perfect well worth what I paid for it

Very easy to use with great results for its intended purpose. It has a lot more features than I expected and performs above my expectations. I was looking for a recorder just to lay down ideas, record backing tracks for practice, & to record my playing/singing for critiquing purposes. This device does that well and then some. I like the fact that it will run on batteries for portability. Batteries seem to last a fair amount of time but if I had one complaint about this device would be that it does not include a power adapter.

Your general opinion of this product.
In my opinion among all my other Tascam recorders, the 006 is an easier to use 6 track and actually
requires less technology than the neo 2488...
Writing songs is quicker and with higher quality...
Very well made
Plug in and record, easy as that
Simplicity ??
Sounds smooth and seamless
