In no way I'm I affiliated with AMS or, Tascam. This is a true review. So, I have the 2 Pioneer DJ models, Shure, & I just returned the HD280Pro2's because they hurt. I have a small head & I even bought hybrid earpads for them but, the tension was too much. Not only that but, nothing is included with those overpriced headphones, Senn's. The other 3 & these, do include a carry bag, & cables.
I was intending on returning these for the new Mackie 350's but, it's day 2 with these & I am finding it very difficult to exchange these. These are so clear, they deserve the gold Hi-Res stamp! I am so impressed, especially at this price!
Trust me, I follow Can videos on YouTube to make better decisions & I wanted so bad to like the Senn's but, these right here? The difference is notable.
I will still get the Mackie's eventually but, another reason for me not exchanging these for those is the frequency response is wider with these. The bass is punchy & tight with no muddying. The highs are not overpowering, just clear.
I also considered the M40X's but, they also lack in features that these have. No removable cable. Smaller diaphragm. These are 50mm.
One complaint & nothing major, is only because I have big ear lobes & I wish the cup's were oval. If you have plugs like I do, the cup might rest on yours.
That's a maybe though. BTW, these are light & comfortable.
If you regret getting these, you're a definite hard person to please. I listen to everything from Hip-Hop to Drum & Bass, House in every form, Reggae in every genré, & so on.
These are a pleasure to listen to.

I had a tascam recording system but did not have the headphones to go with it so i did my research and found tascam headphones to be ideal for my system and needless to say i was not disappointed in my purchase crystal clear highs great bottom even mid range. It doesn't get any better
