Love this guitar as does my teacher! Great for a beginner or experienced player! The sound is so smooth and full. I had a cheaper beginners guitar to start with but this one is so much easier to play, it’s given my wrists and joints a much needed break. It’s made such a difference in my progress

I had the same model stolen from me unfortunately earlier this year and it broke my heart but through AMC I was not only able to afford to replace it but to have a good point of view for comparison and I am impressed and very grateful because it would not have been financially possible for me to afford another without AMC working with me on payments. And I can honestly say it plays just as good if not better then my original and I look forward to playing it for the rest of my life. thank you AMC without a doubt you have mended a broken heart.

when it comes down to Taylor really does anything have to be said this guitar sings and the nicest part of it is that feels like a lead instrument you can play fast on this guitar with amazing ease and the action is real nice more than that it feels good to hold this guitar it has a nice feel to it very comfortable and it's beautiful so well made absolutely for the money spent this is well worth every penny

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Taylor 114ce. I love the simplicity of the design. I don't go for a lot of inlay or ornamental additions. The volume and tone that the instrument projects is certainly satisfactory but I find the treble tones a little thin. The guitar sounds fantastic when played through and an amp and I will be buying one from American Music as soon as I finsih paying of the guitar. The fingerboard and neck are extremely easy to navigate in my opinion. Although I have seen this model offered for less money, the no interest monthly payment plan is the only way I could have obtained the guitar at this time. I was also glad to have gig bag included in the price. All in all I am quite pleased with the entire transaction and plan on doing more business with AMS.

My wife had giving me my first guitar for Christmas a few years back. Nice used guitar. Best gift I have ever received.....until now. This Taylor guitar is amazing and a great upgrade from my 1st guitar. Will always remember my 1st guitar but this once is EXCELLENT!!

First of all I’m a drummer that is a wannabe guitarist. I have several guitars that feel like toys compared to my new Taylor. It’s inspiring to play and I have improved so much it won’t be long before I’m giggjng with it. I also have a friend that has borrowed it several times to play his gigs becuase he said it’s much better than his acoustic. Anyway he needs to buy his own becuase next time I’m saying no! Lol. So I guess this is 2 reviews in one! I highly recommend this Guitar!

I have wanted a Taylor for as long as I can remember, however being in hard rock bands for the past thirty or so years, it didn't make sense to buy one only to sit in a corner.
Now that I'm approaching the next musical stage of my life, I figured it was about time. After a few short minutes of playing it, I can't imagine playing any other acoustic.No offense to my Takamine EF508c which has treated me good for some twenty years and is a fine guitar, but Taylors, in my opinion, are just a step above everything else I have played (yes, Martin too, no disrespect intended). What is truly amazing is the fact that as nice as it plays and sounds, the 114 is the "most economical" full size that they make.
It was set up beautifully and ready to play right out of the box, in nearly perfect tune no less. The action is amazing and makes you forget you're playing an acoustic. The neck shape and width make even the nastiest bar chord seem easy, and the sound is simply beyond comparison.Bravo Taylor

American Musical has shipped another great instrument to my door as quickly as promised. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! I have owned so many acoustics over the years but needed one that I could rely on for good sound and playability without worrying about damaging a a more costly guitar during travel and setup. This plays great, has a sweet satin finish, and a similar tone to my 214. Thanks AMS!

I bought a "minor blemish" model at a discount. I've been over the guitar with a fine toothed comb and I can't find a blemish on it!! It is pristine in every way. I have three dreadnaughts and a 12 string jumbo. I wanted something brighter and more articulate for fingerstyle playing. This guitar fits the bill perfectly. Light, comfortable, and a beautiful balanced articulate sound. Plays like a dream. Very impressive sound for the money - even for much more. Don't let the layered back and sides put you off - it looks, sounds and plays great. I would not hesitate for a moment to gig and record with this guitar. Kudos to Taylor for making a nice guitar that's affordable.
