I`m pretty much a beginner at slide playing. I decided to try one of these because the old brass one I had was very heavy, and I was not good at keeping all the extra noise of open strings muted. This slide is very light, and I find it easy to keep string noise muted with it, and I have great control with it. Helped big time.

Warm tone, easy to control, smooth feel but not slippery. Maybe a bit between the tone of a metal slide and a glass slide.

Comfortable slide to wear and use. Lightweight slide offers a warm, earthy tone but its very punchy and responsive to pick attack. slides across the strings very nicely, i could see this being exceptional for nylon string playing. works great on electric; tonally, it doesnt really break any new ground, but it certainly offers something different than glass or brass.
