Product Review This amp is everything that it is advertised to be, powerful, light, and great sound. The only reason that I didn't give it a five is that I the option of a knob to increase or lower the output of the signal out.

Product Review I bought this amp to play bass at my church. I am a guitar player but occasionally fill in on bass. I like this amp for the features, built in tuner and awesome effect with the tone print downloads. Oh yeah and it's not very heavy, well worth the money!

Product Review Light weight and Much louder than you would expect! Handles my 5 string all night! It is a great all in one amp. Excellent build quality. It's light, but rugged. The TonePrint feature is bada$$. I can't stress this enough. Beast. Sounds better, goes lower, and is louder than my Ampeg BA115. Perfect for me. Easy to adjust. The foot pedal is basic, but functions very well. Amazing. Any tone you want. TC Electronics is no slouch when it comes to tone. This thing is worth 3 times what they charge. I will be getting another.

Product Review I was looking for a practice amp and something portable. As you know bass amp and portable are rarely used in the same sentence that doesn't include the word "not". I knew I would be sacrificing sound and features but after reviews and watching videos I decided on the TC Electronics BG250-115. Wow was I surprised! Not only was it crazy light, it sounds great clean, has a built in electronic tuner and 2 channels for internal effects like Chorus, Drive, Flanger, etc. I told a friend who is a bass player and he wasn't impressed. Then I plugged him in and he is ordering one next week. We were both blown away by the sound, lightweight, and features it has. I REALLY like the sound. My favorite so far is still the clean but it sounds great for slap and pop as well, very tight and when you roll the bass knob forward, it will really boom for it's size. It is still new as I have only had it less than a week but I really haven't found a sound that I don't like or isn't "musical" like a lot of the other effects heavy items or pedal boards. I am usually not one for a load of effects, I play mostly clean but every tone I have tried so far is very well played. The ability to change to dozens of tones from my phone is great too. It really gets attention at practice. Amps look great, have great features, being light weight is very handy but when it comes down to it you buy an amp for it's sound not for it's looks. Hands down it sounds amazing. LOVE the fact that it has an 1/8" aux in so I can practice with my music straight from the mp3 on my telephone. The overall music doesn't have a muffled sound either. As far as the bass sound, it is hands down EXACTLY the sound I was looking for and didn't think I would achieve. It's very simple to operate. 1/4" instrument in. Master volume, Gain, 3 band EQ and TonePrint on/off pushbutton with a level button for each of the two TonePrint circuits. BEACDG tuner with fine tuners. 1/8" aux in and 1/8" headphone out, balanced output and a mini USB for updates and interface. I am mostly a clean player because I have never really found a lot of tones that were musically "me". I have actually found a few Overdrives and Chorus that I really like to play. I was expecting a small affordable practice amp with a few features but lacking in sound quality. What I received was a real bass amp with great sound, very useable features, addition of a LED tuner, aux in, and all rolled up into a 35lb package. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and yes I have played a few of the competitors in this price range at the local guitarmart. You really should check out this tone. It's spot on.
