Product Rating What is your opinion of this product? This bass felt good in my hands the minute I started playing! I still have yet to tweak it to my liking but thus far I am satisfied. The one complaint (which is minor) is there are no marker dots on the fretboard. I have never experienced that before on a bass in all the years and basses I have owned. Other than that, I am happy!

    So So Good!

What is your opinion of this product? Good lightweight Bass for practice and the road. It seems suitable for beginners, all students, novices and professionals. But for an annoying "Hum", it was playable right out of the box. Replacing the preamp-pickup battery with a good alkaline battery SO FAR has cancelled the hum. The pickups are not loud or booming but ok! CONCERNS: Softness of the wood, though it's suppose to be some type of "Pine" wood, seems very soft. One of the screws that hold the rear electronics plate was stripped out of the box. So upgrading, lets say the bridge would be a concern as not certain the wood would stand any extra force or pressure. Some blogposts speak of folks upgrading to Babicz Bridge and Fender or Duncan pickups to this bass. Personally, before doing so, I'd consult with a professional luthier. Overall, for the money, this bass is "good to go" right out of the box.
