These were bought for a beginner, but the sound and quality are very good. The drums can be played quite loud or at a level that is easy for others in the same room. They appear to be very good quality with replaceable covers and adjustable tension. They come in a variety of colors; we got blue which is vibrant and true to the images online. And the price was very reasonable.

I was looking for something not pricy or processional to add some rhythm to my playing around the house and these looked like a good fit. I was surprised however by the quality for the price. The quality far exceeds the price and I love the sound. I can't stop banging on them when I walk by or when I am just sitting around. My friend, who doesn't play anything but the radio, loves banging on them. Might make a musician of her yet. Personal note - I purchased the blue ones and the color is phenomenal!

I wasnt expecting too much for the money. I ordered these for my son to have something to bang around on besides a smartphone app. Wow was i surprised! I dont play bongos, but i might have to get my own because i am getting curiously addicted to playing them...lol. fit and finish is spot on. Very high quality! Only caveat was the little metal badge on front didnt match photo. It just says "Toca", but it is nice and attractive anyway. Would buy again!

I have played in jazz, salsa, and all kinds of music. These portable "Tocas" are hot! You can jam with the best! I have LP congas and timbales and rate right up there with solid sounds. There are hard to put them down, you just want to keep jammin'. I bought two. One for myself and another for a brother-in-law. Man, we sounded like players of the Fania All Stars. I recommend adding these to your music playing adventures. They are well worth the price!

I have no complaints with this bongo set. It is at the low end of Toca products. Nevertheless, they are fine bongos for the money. My previous Toca purchases are keepers.

The tone is just what you'd expect in great bongos.
