This is actually the second purchase of this Universal Audio 4 710D Four Channel Microphone Preamp. The first was purchased 5 years or more ago and is going strong. No issues with it at all. The second purchase was made to add to a growing studio. As with all UA devices, the build is solid and the sound quality is top of the line. The blend control allows the blending of solid state and vacuum tube circuits to get an incredible clean sound.

Great on anything and everything. Having been an owner of the single channel 710, I was still wasn’t ready for the versatility and depth of this thing. Vocals come to life and my Rhodes never sounded better in the 20+ years I’ve had it.
If you’re thinking about getting one of these, stop thinking and upgrade your setup.

You can't go wrong with such a great gear, so much in one unit. I would say four for the price of one. Vocals sound amazingly good, nice texture in the sound produced through this unit! I love it!

Well balance in both rack mounting and fotting for desktop placing. It has been very dependable in my last tracking on drums.
Best feature is choosing between solid state and tube n in between.
Everything is on the front for easy access and easy to understand. Manual was simple and basic for any novest
Beautiful tone on vintage keys, bass, and guitars. It just brings life to them
So far I own two of these 4-710s for about a year now and it has worked great so far with no major problems. Maybe a little bit of dirty pots even though my studio is clean but I expect that in any condition unless you have a clean room which no one does anyways

Overall this product has renew my inspiration to record again
