Product Rating Your general opinion of this product. Decent stand for the price, looks good, operates well, feels sturdy. It folds up nicely for transport. This model has the telescoping boom, and it is plenty sturdy enough to support my big studio condenser mic. It's not the most solid stand, but about the best you can do in this price range. It's solid enough for stage use, and will work for a traveling show if you're not too rough on it. Operates like most stands, easy enough to get your mic where you want it without slipping. I wanted a stand that had the telescoping boom, so many these days do not have that. The back end of the boom is not a counter weight. It's just a plastic cap that looks like one, it would be better if it were a weight, or just had the ability to add you own weight to the back end of the boom. Your microphones will sound .002% sweeter on this stand!

Cheap stand but nice for the home studio

It's a cheap stand, but nothing arrived broken and it's doing it's job just fine. I'd depend on it for recording in the home studio but not really for live use. The telescoping boom is an excellent feature on such an inexpensive stand, really allows you to position it wherever you need. If I had the choice I'd put a counterweight on the end for heavier mics. It's a simple telescoping mic stand, pretty easy to get everything adjusted where you want it. Once locked in position it seems to hold there just fine. I've got it holding a mic for my guitar cabinet and it hasn't drooped or anything like that since I set it up. N/A
