The mics sound great initially, but over the coarse of several months. The mics arbitrarily, one by one stop transmitting for no apparent reason. Within one year I only had one working mic out of the total. I wasted my money and will now have to buy more mics. I don't mind spending money for something that lasts or if I want to upgrade, but it is discouraging that I have to buy again in under two years due to a substandard and failing product.

I fought with corded mic's and singers with varied volumes for years.
This VocoPro setup solved the problem!
The four individual gains per channel and four individual XLR outputs made volume control so much easier.
Not only are the gains a plus, but the sound quality is impressive!
If you're on a budget, like myself, this setup is the way to go!

The mics are pretty amazing. One of the four requires a significant amount more gain to register as loud as the other three. The batteries lasted me through two complete six-hour karaoke shows of nonstop singing without needing to be changed. Those are the pros. The cons are as follows. The feet on the unit cannot be removed if you want to use it in a rack-mount configuration. This means that the unit would need to be mounted at the bottom of the rack to allow the feet to tuck away without obstructing any other units in the rack. Last, but not least, Vocopro is known for its oversized power adapters. These oversized adapters make plugging into a power conditioner next to impossible. I really wish Vocopro would adopt an adapter setup similar to that of Shure units.

This product is enjoyed by my singers of my church. I was not sure I wanted to invest in this product because of the negative report I verbally received from another individual. My concern was being able to sing thru them. I'm glad I didn't listen and took the chance. My church congregation even notice the difference and quality in the sound.

I do a regular Karaoke night once a week and have always used an affordable 2 mic system. I needed to upgrade as I am always having groups of 3 & 4 that want to sing together. One of the problems that is common with the "budget" systems is an inferior diaphragm element in the mic that tends to "crackle" or "pop" when amateur singings yell into the mic or hold the mic to close while singing loudly. The VocoPro handles these problems without breaking a sweat. I have never had a dropout and they sound amazing. I would Highly recommend this system to any Karaoke Host. It will completely suit your needs!

Ok 1st of i like the fact that each mic can hook up to their own separate channel. They pick up a lot of highs and are perfect for my rig. I actually used them on a very important event and a well known Spanish Christian singer Amalfi Blanco use one of the mics and she was happy with the sound. They even bring batteries straight out of the box. I mean its just perfect.

It is hard enough to find 4 microphone sets or larger as it is. They set the standard by not only creating such a bundle but also to where it’s functional with no interference. I got these for my church to replace an old set that had very bad interference issues. I would recommend these also for traveling events as well. Planning on buying another set .

One of the microphones kept cutting in and out, and I had to send the unit back for warranty repair. The repair shop had a hard time figuring out what was wrong, and kept it for over a month. I had to call them several times to check on the progress, and they kept saying that they couldn't find the problem. Seems that they kept not understanding the problem, and I had to keep explaining it, many, many times. It was eventually returned to me. Apparently there were a lot of shoddy soldering issues with the unit.

I use it for a Karaoke show and so far no issues. No feedback problems at all. Even when walking directly in front of my 15 inch powered speakers. Just keep track of the battery life, if the battery dies during performance it squeals pretty bad.

I have been using them for Karaoke and they work great, but the receiver is within 15 feet of the mics, so don't have anything to say about the range. Tone quality is good in Karaoke.
I have also used them for my band a couple times. I found that the tonal quality and gain was very different from my sure SM58's but expected. So i had to do a lot of adjusting each channel EQ and trim. Worked on them for two shows and was still not satisfied, so I did not use them the last two shows as I was not in the mood to fiddle around at that time. They just sounded thin through the PA using all QSC mains & monitors, and a Behringer XP18 Mixer. I will try again in the future. Again the distance is short, so I have no comment on how far out they go.
All in all I am very please with them for the price, and would recommend them to others.

I was skeptical at first because this 4-mic set cost me almost as much as 1-set from a bigger brand, but these mics actually sound great. They're perfect for karaoke hosts, or if you have a wedding ceremony with multiple people doing readings and speeches, these are ideal. The batteries that come with them aren't that great, so make sure you have some Duracells or something along those lines.

This is the worst value in wireless products that I've ever used in my two decades of sound production. Range is terrible. The horrible "rubberized" finish has started to get sticky. I don't just blame this company for that, all so called "rubberized" finishes are trash. Sound quality is even worse. Only purchase this if you want to use it in you home with children. For an inexpensive wireless microphone these worked absolutely great. There was no Distortion from the microphone that I could hear. The only thing I could ask for would be to have a case to carry these in.

Simple to set up. Make sure you order the short xlr cables to connect to your pa.
I used them for a 4 hour rehearsal and they didn't feedback, plenty of power.
Looking forward to using them at our next gig.

Great little Mic set up. Easy to use and it sounds great. Great for a small local gigging band. Would have given it five stars if the casings were metal. Overall have not had no problems with it, sounds as good as a way higher price systems. Haven't had any interference issues with guitar wireless or local interference at any gigs. Nice inexpensive way to unclutter your stage.

Love it I have used these mics in a few churches lightweight good sound quality easy to set up and disassemble the singers love them beacuse they are more voice receptive so they don't have to sing so loud or hold the mics so close to their mouth cleaner sound less feedback our gospel group really enjoy this product the vocopro 5800 wireless microphone systems

this is a great product, for the price you can't get a better deal, American Musical has the best prices and fast shipping it was on my door the next day. had it hooked up by night fall and zoned in that evening been using it ever since. No wires running on the floor it is awesome!!!

both the receiver and the mics appear to be solid and of very good build quality.
All the basic features that you would need in a wireless system. I like the xlr connections for each individual mic.
If you're at all familiar with wireless systems, this is pretty much plug and play.
Impressive sound quality at this price point. I use them for a weekly karaoke show and live sound. No complaints from the good vocalists. Great frequency response range.
Your general opinion of this product.
As good as any wireless or wired mic at a price of around $100.00 per mic, and I own and have used a bunch.

I used it 3 times then it crapped out. I had the thing for just over the 45 day return policy and they would not exchange it. It appears on close examination to have some rust on the screws on the main unit. One mike stopped working after only 2 performances, then the whole unit had the volume drop to nothing. I was told by VocoPro that I need to send it back AT MY EXPENSE to California. And they would repair and send it back to me free of charge. Big Deal... Make something that can last more than 2 months. And shame on American Musical for not just exchanging the unit!!!!

Not many features but not needed.
Receiver was easy to use though was a little bit shorter to mount in my rack. Had plenty power and range.

Here's the drawback. You will not get the wireless range of the more expensive mics. Keep the receiver as close to the stage as possible. I've had a couple of channels go out but it was a simple fix of unscrewing the module and reseating it in it's connector to fix the problem.
I like the sound quality of these mics, especially for recording live. You do not need the more expensive wireless mics if you are looking for a good mic for recording live. These are great if you are on a budget.
Very easy to figure out without the manual.
Great sound, especially for the money. Start with these and work your way up to something more expensive if you need more features and extended range.

Individual modules, if one breaks down it can be removed and replaced, ease of use and setup
very, if you can't hook this up you should not be doing sound!

We will have to wait to see on dependability. The mics are a bit light and feel fragile but reasonable care should result in no problems
This is an economical way to get into the wireless world. The equipment is easy to operate and designed very well for the sound to be controlled from the stage.
Very easy to learn. The manual is simple and the set up is just as simple
Best sound we have had. We moved from wired mics and this is better all round

The mics feel fragile but seem to work well. I have been using them in the club for karaoke for over a year and they get habdeled by all kinds of people. I have just bought a set for a band I run sound for.
Compact and easy to set up. Seperate outputs for each mic so different effects can be used on each mic.
Connect the output, hook up the wall wart, put the bateries in the mics, set the gain and squelch, your done.
The sound is decent for the price it is great. It is not as good as my Shure but it is much better than my Nady.
