It seems well made with good materials. I ordered the black one. I got one that was a dark bluish grey. Is that what they call black? I'd rather keep it though than send it back. It is quite thick and was difficult to put over my pegs. I wouldn't want to remove it often. A permanent locking snap on peg system would be the way to go with these thick straps. The straps are well worth the money if they last. We will see. I am going to order another one if I can actually get a real "black" one if they are still the same price.

It doesn't feel like leather. It seems like it's a thin layer of leather laminated on the pad material. If it breaks in and becomes more flexible I will like it. If it stays this stuff I will not.

This is the second Vorson strap I have purchased. I am very happy with both straps. This one looks exceptionally well with my Dark Violin finished bass. You need a wide, comfortable strap on a bass and this one does a great job of supporting the weight and controlling movement.

Absolutely the most comfortable axe strap I've used to this point. However, I've only had it a few days. No real "break-in" period, even though it's leather. The padding is what I expected but only time will tell using it on a full dressed LP!
Appears to be well made, thus I expect it to be reliable. Time will tell.
Takes the weight of the LP very well and I hope during long sessions will prove its level of comfort. I have not had it that long.

Bought the textured "basket-weave" in black. Absolutely gorgeous. Soft and supple.
Time will tell. Construction appears to be of very good quality.
