Expressive, wide ranging and iconic. I’ve recorded several albums, using the Vox Wah. It looks great on my the pedal board. It’s an extremely solid build, I’ve even toured with mine, and it withstand the rigors of the road and shines every time. Women will swoon

Replaced an old worn Cry Baby Original with this Vox V847A, sounds great, finding all the classic wah variations as I explore the sounds. Have it powered w/dedicated multi volt pwr source, even looks great w/the blend of chrome n black ????

Absolutely amazing. What else can I say? Has that true vintage wah tone. I’ve had a few wahs and while they were good...this one just takes the cake. I love simplicity and this is just plug in, kick it on and drift away in all its lovely sounds.. Also plays extremely well with a vibe as well as other pedals. And once again, customer service was 5 stars. Arrived 2 days from when I ordered it. Perfect.

Compared to its V847 counterpart and the v 847HW I like this one because unlike the pricier handwired [HW] being a production line standard; no human intervention for likelihood of error; as well as the extra output jack on the HW that I can do without personally; I find the action to be slightly smoother on this model [V847A] than on the lower priced original V847. I find it superior to the Crybaby but that is possibly a matter of personal taste. I had a Crybaby back in the 1970s because I settled for one because the Wah-Wah by VOX was out of my reach price wise. So for what it's worth I am completely happy with this as well as the slightly less expensive V847.
You will notice a difference in your sound if you just kick it into gear and don't even bother rocking the pedal back and forth. Very cool sound imo.

What can ya say, it's a Vox Wah. I've had other Wahs but this Vox Wah nails the Wah sound in my head. Easy to obtain just the right spot for the parked Wah tone. I like the sweep and feel.

I get full sweep with ease, and it feels natural to me. I have yet to play with one that will beat it.

Yes it seems to be made well for a pedal in this general price range. I doubt that there will be any dependability issues. I bought mine from AMS so I am not worried.
I have owned this new model for about 6 months. No problems. I had a mid-90's one that I had to replace the inductor in because it got really scratchy but otherwise was ok but didn't sound as good as this new version and the mid-90's one I had also sucked signal while not in use. This new one Vox is making now is much better in every way.

Sounds like a Vox wah at it's best. When Jimi Hendrix went to London and heard the Vox Wah he switched to it!
Classic Vox look.
The option to use a battery OR a standard 9 Volt Boss/barrel type power/plug is a nice improvement.

it feels good playing my vox pedal the neck is awsome and yes the controls are very easy to get to
dark and smooth and it was pretty thick
it's pretty sweet

i only give it a 4 because dunlop pedals have the whole "Q" dial thing
EASE OF USE:
if you can't figure out how to push a pedal up and down then you should slow down on the drug use

QUALITY:
Basically this Wah is fantastic with one pretty irritating drawback, when the effect is on the volume drops, not a lot but noticably.
FEATURES:
Fantastic Balance of a Great sounding Effect much better than the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Edition i had before
EASE OF USE:
I hope i never find a wah that isn't easy to use. I mean come on.
VALUE:
With the exception to the Volume Drop this wah is incredible. I still love it and don't plan on replacing it. Neat little bag came with it. Wish it came with the Ac adapter
