It's just a beast! It has it's own voice and isn't an amp in the box. If you're looking for an extremely well made pedal and need an excellent distortion that isn't too fizzy or over the top, try it out. It's awesome!

As with all Wampler pedals, this offering is just awesome. Amazing gain tones, but rolls back to produce some very usable classic tones as well!

From vintage to 80’s hard rock/metal this thing can handle it. There are a number of controls to get exactly whatbyou are after. Unless you are pushing a fairly gainy tone already I would not reccommend this for modern metal however. But I am pairing this with a Dracarys and i habe all the rock tones I could ever need!
