We are new to the banjo so by no means an expert. The banjo is awesome , it sounds great. It seems easy to play and is very well built just what you would expect with a Washburn instrument

Bought this five months ago. Nice looking banjo but cheap made. Set up is terrible, can't get even tension on the head, the action is too high and the tone is lacking. There are no real banjo techs in my area. I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case I gave up. Learning to play any instrument requires commitment and a quality instrument, the B9 does not measure up in my opinion. I have decided to bite the bullet and buy a Deering.
