Microphone to amp impedance match

I use one of these to increase the harmonic distortion when playing my harmonica thru a guitar amp with a Shure SM58, it takes the sterile sound from the low impedance microphone, and makes it sound fantastic. I'm playing thru a custom Lone Wolf designed amp that I built myself using the schematic found on Lone Wolf's site, it's the best I have ever sounded on a harp!
