I like this power supply for smaller items however if you have many larger pedals such as the Strymon/ HX stomp you will need more amperage that this provides. Its visually appealing and cool. Does great for basic boards!

This is a great power supply with 15 ports (which is the main reason I bought it) and has an extra outlet for whatever else you may need to plug in, but this thing has to weigh at least 5 pounds! It doesn’t come with a mounting bracket so I will have to try to find a way to mount this on my pedal board. I would give it 5 stars but for the price this thing is way too heavy and huge in my opinion. Durability may be there though!

I have been using some cheaper power supplies, and struggling with noise from them, I was also tired of using multiple power supplies. This fit the bill, got me down to one power supply, and it easily powers my looper, and my Bogner Ecstasy Blue, and Red which have higher power requirements without issue.
It is nice to finally have one powers supply for my entire board.

I’ve used this to power all sorts of pedals. Some power hungry ones like the old digitech jamman looper pedal, game changer plus sustain pedal. The multi variable switching and additional outlet give you a ton of options to power a midi controller, drum module, or whatever else you can think of. I’m still finding new ways to utilize this pedal and while price is a bit steep, it’s one of those things I’ll have forever. Aesthetically great, slim profile, isolating for each output, no noise. There are a lot of slots for options on here so if you think you may have a lot of pedal purchases in the future or already have too many, you really can’t go wrong with this pedal.

This is for the musician who has a lot of pedals. Comes with everything you need to deliver clean power to your pedals on your board. My only knock is I wish the port where the main power supply cable goes into was a little more recessed so it wouldn’t wiggle and risk losing power. Otherwise a very solid choice!! AMS ships quickly, has great customer service, has great promotions, and has great payment plans when you are short on cash. You can’t go wrong shopping with American Musical Supply!

Horrible product. It feels as if it’s going to fall apart right out of the box. When I plugged in my pedals (I checked all of the power ratings many times) I get very loud buzzing, my pedals turn on and off once in a while, and some of the DC input jacks are so loose that the cables fall right out.
My Julia pedal from Walrus was horrible as well. I highly recommend using ANYONE but Walrus. I have had hundreds of pedals and their products are by far the most unusable, biggest waste of time and money out there.

This bad boy liberated my board from 2 daisy chains and 4 adapters! Aside from the convenience the noise floor on all my settings was reduced a lot, no more chatter. Now I have the threshold on my nose gate lower and everything sounds clearer. Also my high gain pedals benefit from a little bump in voltage and are simply roaring at 12v.

This is my first time using any sort of clean power supply, but it’s working great so far! Walrus Audio never disappoints, so I knew it would be quality. I’m looking forward to adding on more pedals and not having to worry about overloading the ole daisy chain.

Has 15 outputs with some versatile settings such as 9v/18 100mA switch and 2 12v/9v 100mA, so if you have all 9v pedals it is not a problem! It also delivers clean power (obviously), before buying the Phoenix my signal was really "muddy". There's always plenty of options for power supplies but this one works for me, plus it has a cool graphic!

I've been meaning to get one of these for about a year now. kept putting it off. finally decided to, but needed one with a lot of outputs. this has the most of any. also it is a top notch company. didn't want to get one that wasn't top shelf and not hear any difference. this makes a difference. it cleans up my tone, with all the pedals I use, about 13 effects and the sdrum and a looper, it still sounded less muddy than you would think, but this thing cleaned it up really well, plus cut the noise down a lot. it is worth it. some things you should spend extra on, a power supply is one of them

I recently started a new band project, and my signal chain needed a major overhaul to keep the shows flowing smoothly. To keep from having to adjust my pedals between songs, I added a couple pedals and an A/B switch. My power supply only had eight outputs, and I currently have twelve pedals. Two have a current draw upwards of 250ma, so I needed flexibility in outputs as well as the ability to power twelve or more pedals. The Phoenix does the job perfectly. It has four 300ma outs, and the capability to run some 12 and 18 volt outs as well. The Phoenix is very quiet, solidly built, and so far it’s been very reliable. The cables were all in the box, and the instructions are pretty clear if the operation of it isn’t apparent to the user. The only thing I would like to see is a little more space between the output jacks. Very highly recommended!
