Extremely versatile! It's been excellent when used with a fender rhodes, a couple different synths, I dj'd through it and I even went way out there and played a guitar through it and it worked perfectly.

I don’t even know where to start. This pedal has introduced me to a whimsical world of reverb, and I don’t think I ever want to leave. The versatility of the Walrus Slö is almost unparalleled, because you can pull off simple reverb tones as well as lush, dreamy, ambient sounds. The octave setting is unique, but it has its applications. There I could spend days playing with this pedal and contemplating why I didn’t buy it sooner. I wish it had presets, but I know they added that to the Slötvå. This is a wonderful introduction to Walrus Audio, and this will definitely not be the last pedal I buy of theirs.

It’s super easy to use and sounds great on a myriad of guitar types. It adds that “something sweet” to the ambiance of the set. Walrus Audio is also super helpful if you have questions. Great pedal for a great price!

I love it. I actually am selling most of my pedals now because I got an HX Effects and I am really happy with the sound, but nothing really compares to this reverb, so I am going to keep it in my rig. Buy it.

There are so many boutique-style pedals that attempt to do that type of thing that this pedal does, but this one is the best I’ve tried. It can be a straight-ahead hall reverb and so much more. Paired with a chorus it’s instant shoe gaze; push fuzz through it and you have that re-amped Gilmour vibe. I’m particularlya fan of the hold feature, which lets you play over a sound or chord as it sustains indefinitely.
A clever pedal, well made and—best of all—easy to use and discover. Since buying this I’ve been recording and writing more, and that’s the whole point. This pedal makes you want to play. Highly recommended addition to your pedal board.

Very cool pedal, tons of features. The sustain switch is great. There's also momentary function if you just want reverb for a specific part. Atmospheric, lush, all the clichés about good reverb. You can get some really creepy sounds out of it, which I like as a horror soundtrack fan. Nice pedal!

I was looking for another reverb to add to my board to fill that lush ambient tone. This pedal fits the bill and then some. It is very customizable and versatile. It can go from simple short reverb all the way to full space.

This pedal exceeded my expectations, has the ability to transform your sound completely into either a melancholic sound, or give a natural dreamy vibe. The chord progression and notes you play determine the true sound of this pedal! 5 stars, built solid.

Great reverb pedal!!!
I’ve owned probably 15 reverb pedals in my 20-ish years of guitar playing by far this is been my favorite reverb pedal it’s very versatile... I love the ambient sound you can get with it.. go watch some YouTube videos they show its versatility pretty well, especially if you’re in any of that Pink Floyd or Shoegaze or rock you can really set up a nice little wall of ambience... Probably not the best for that country chicken Pickin... I think it sounds great on solos or for use in a rhythm!!!

Slo has a "dream" reverb mode where hitting the sustain button will latch and sustain whatever was playing. It's like an EHX Freeze or simple Gamechanger Plus, but with beautiful reverb. At the same time it lets the dry signal through, so you can latch a pad sound and play over it. Pair the Slo with another reverb in front of it and you can do wonderfully ambient things.
There's more control than what you see too, with secondary functions for modulation type and rate.
