This mic stand surprised me with how solid and sturdy it is. Our band gigs rarely so I can’t say over the long haul if you gig every weekend how it’ll hold up, but thus far for me- perfect.

These stands are pretty nice. The base with the folding legs is plastic which gave me some concern but it is pretty tough stuff as well. Seems like one of the swivel joints has to be clapped down a little harder but the hardware and on other stands they feel nice and solid. Not plastic crap like on other cheaper boom stands. When the legs are folded out they will ‘lock’ to the stand pole as well, which some may see as a benefit and others may not. You just have to remember to slide the base with the legs folded. Other than that non-issue these are great stands and will most likely be the ones I purchase in the future.

I use these for gigs to hold SM57s and SM58s (corded and cordless). They are stable, work well, and are not heavy. You can also take the boom off and use it as a straight stand.

This was a replacement for a bundle stand and mic I ordered. The stand included in the package was out of stock. Not sure if this was an upgrade or not but it is very solid and better than I expected. Think I'll order another in the near future to replace a worn out stand we have been using as well. Thanks AMS!

Yeah, I purchased this stand for many reasons, works perfect for what i need. I use this stand in front of my amp. to project, and can very easily boom it up for either sitting or standing guitar playing or vocals. Comes in very handy for small road gigs.And the price was great, very well built.

The stand was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to assemble and has a wide tripod base for stability. The boom is easy to adjust and has no problem holding up my Shure 55 mic, which is no lightweight. I'm probably going to buy another one.

This is an amazing stand and has several qualities that would make it useful for even theatrical micing overheads! I think highes to this goes is 10 ft. in the air! Also this mic stand can be used as either a straight stand or a boom stand because of it's extremely good design! mine is supporting a blue yeti pro and an SE vocal booth as well as a pop screen and headphones and could not be more stable! Honestly I do not see how one could do better the industrial-style boom arm mounting fixture is amazingly great!

Price is on point, base is wide enough to handle a pencil mic, booms are long! What more do you want to mic your overhead? Suits us just fine and so far they haven’t fell over! If you don’t like it after you purchase it, pass it off to a vocal guy, they love stands. Seriously, to them a new stand is like...cheesecake. Do it.

I never used a mic stand ever! I used to have pastor, bride, groom, etc. hold the microphone in their hands. I even hold the microphone in my. Now he’ll no , hook the microphone to the microphone stand and that’s it. I can scratch and Mc at the same time.
