I’ve tried various higher priced wireless systems over the years and have had problems with all of them crapping out on me . This inexpensive unit takes up little space, is easy to use and works. Being usb rechargeable is a plus for me and so far I’ve had no issues with functionality , sound or drop outs .

I have used these indoors and out for many gigs now, and they have been solid. I haven't had drop-outs, and they reproduce the bass frequencies very well. They fit well, the battery life is great for a whole evening, and they are solidly built. They are rechargeable and charge quickly. The hinges are great to get the right angle. I would highly recommend them.

These have definitely improved over the past few years. These here hold a longer charge and have a longer range. I throw them on charge between sets because anything can happen live and you want to be prepared to play longer if needed. Great little wireless! AMS makes it happen again. This wireless system is awesome! It literally works everywhere in my house. My amp tower is on the ground floor and it works even when I’m on the second floor! I have experienced no issues at all with it and it is incredible to play without a cord hanging from my guitar! I wish I had purchased it years ago. Honestly, for the amount of money I’ve thrown at various cords over the last 20 years I could have purchased many of these! The freedom is incredible!

These have a great battery life and are very compact. The signal from my guitar to the board remained connected the whole gig and I had no issues. They also sounded great on my acoustic and I was able to move more freely on stage. Great little unit!

I bought this item in hopes of using it at my solo Acoustic Shows. My set up is extremely simple and is comprised of an EV30 Line Array Acoustic Guitar and Microphone.
I was hoping to be able to take advantage of the wireless capability.
I have had this for 2 week and played with it on 3 shows.
The transmitter is approximately 10' feet from the Receiver. It constantly cut out on me. I asked some other musician friends of mine in a poll as to what they thought and if they had similar problems. Out of about 125 people the problem was split right down the middle. Half of them said they have Never had a problem with them. And thee other half had the same if not worse problem than me. With that being said, it is my professional opinion that this is good for home use but not in a professional setting. If you use it live, use at your own risk. Have a cable at the ready.

I have had the Xvive rechargeable compact digital wireless guitar system for almost a month now. I have never had good luck with electronics before but this one Blew my mind. It met every expectation that I had. I plain out love the looks of it.! I am still waiting for the batteries to go low enough to recharge. The thing I do like the most is when you plug it in you don't get the usual crack and pop noise when a cable goes bad. I would highly recommend this product.

I have multiple pairs of these for multiple guitars. This makes switching guitars mid gig easy! The only time these have let me down is when I forgot to charge them. 4 hour play time each and 4 channel settings. Very easy to pair together.

It works very very well! I play the bass at my church and I was forever getting tangled in the cord. I got this and it allows me to move Around freely. Very very easy to use all I did was hook up to my bass and I put for the sound system and it started working immediately. It never cuts out and always works. It hasn’t disappointed me. It’s the best investment I could have made. It’s worth more than what I paid for it!

Pretty much flawless for about 25 gigs then transmitter stopped taking a charge. Was told by Xvive that unit is not serviceable and that I need to buy a new one. I then found out how to open it up carefully (thanks YouTube) & access the battery. Went back to Xvive to get battery specs (which they gave me) but couldn't find it aftermarket anywhere. Went back to Xvive to see if they could help & they told me it was a custom battery made only for them and that they do not ship them out to customers because it is considered hazardous material. I'm going back to the older style units that use replaceable batteries.

All that is gone, simple freedom. The only down side is that if you have two units being used, you must be sure that they are on different channels or they will share input. Was so surprised how nice it working.

Neat little wireless system. I had some difficulty with it at first (didn't read instructions) and it kept cutting out. Once I got irritated with not being smart enough to wing it I read the little manual and sure enough changing frequency channels cleaned it right up. Only takes 1.5 hr to recharge. I used for 2 shows it went for 6 hours before it died.No static, no dropouts and we had an outdoor venue which I was around 100 ft from the stage and it still worked.

I checked our several different affordable wireless systems, and kept coming back to this one. I was not sure on going with this type, as I have heard it can interfere with active pickups. I have yet to have that issue with either of my basses with active pickups. I had it quicker than expected and put it to use immediately. Holds a charge for hours. (So far 4 hours without cutting out) AMS made it easy with the easy pay option as well, just in case I wasn't happy with it. Thanks AMS!

This product has to be one of the best guitar investments I’ve ever made in my life. The ease of use is amazing. I work at a nursing home as a music consultant and during these difficult times I’ve been doing a lot of strolling and bedside music throughout the facility. This is my first wireless instrument input system. The Xvive U2 Rechargeable Compact Digital Wireless Guitar System works well with my Fender Mustang IV, Fender Champion 100W - 2X12 and Boss Katana 100W Artist amps. It has signal noise when used with my Marshall DSL 100W head, Marshall MA50C and Fender 68 Twin Reverb 85W RI amps.
The charge time is great. About 3 to four gigs between charges. The Xvive U2 Rechargeable Compact Digital Wireless Guitar System is light - fits my Kramer and Fender guitar bodies well. The unit looks good and has worked excellent at distance. I've only been about 30 feet from the signal receiver and in line of sight. Like all of my equipment, AMS financing has been the only option which allows me to own such excellent amps, guitars and accessories.

For this price, I expected some compromise in quality...but so far have encountered nothing but good strong signal, exceptional battery life, and at a fraction of the price of other units. I also run the sound for my band, and finally have the ability to fine tune the mix while I’m actually playing. Otherwise it was me fine tuning everyone else and then my channel was just as is...and being lead guitarist, that has made a huge difference for me. I can run to the board in between songs to make monitor adjustments As well, and quickly without setting my guitar down. It’s total freedom and as I said, no issues or degradation to my signal. I have experienced 0 dropouts so far and played about a dozen shows. Our bass player has a Shure wireless system that was 3x the price and in comparison his bass sounds the exact same, without the bulky box receiver. I’m not sure what frequency his runs on, but there’s never been an issue with interference between him and I, or any other in-house electronics for that matter. American Musical is awesome for their payment plan and their customer service and quick shipping, I can’t say enough good things about them.

Sound is perfect. Its like a normal cable. I bought 2 of them. The only issue that I ran into were its latency because I was using one from the guitar amp to my pedal board and another from my board to my guitar and the latency doubled... 0.6 + 0.6 But besides the using 2 the same way I was your good to go

I record myself live when ever I play out. I have a Zoom H6 in my live rig. And the recordings sound great. AND having one less chord is soo much easier when you have to set up in a little space real fast. I've taken these into the NYC Subway (72nd St & 2nd Ave And 34th St & Herald Square) and there's no interference of any kind down there. Even on the platform, only a few yards away from the "Third Rail" there's no hum or anything like that.

I use 2 transmitters, one on each of two guitars to one receiver to conveniently switch between the the guitars for different songs live. Works fantastic! The only issue I’ve run into with this configuration is when I forget to turn the transmitter off on the unused guitar after switching guitars which results in a very erratic (unusable) situation. Because it is also difficult to tell it’s actual charge, I purchased a digital power station which indicates the charging amperage rate thus giving me a sense of how charged the unit actually is, that is, when drawing no current from the charger, it is fully charged. I’ve played out with the units probably 10 times and have not had them drop out although I don’t drift particularly far from my rig. These units are an excellent value.

No discernable change in tone. This paired unit works as well as the units that charge twice as much (or more). 6 ms latency, bah, defy you to notice. As a new unit the batteries lasted beyond a full 4-hour gig with no problems. Will wait for longer experience with the unit and submit any additional comments relating to how things perform over time (age). But so far, so good. Would recommend and would buy again at this point.

I was a little skeptical at first due to how simple the connections were. I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to use 2 transmitters and 1 receiver at a show where I had to use an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar. The playback was flawless. I highly recommend this product. Only tip I would offer is to make sure to charge the units after each performance of 2 hours or more just to be in the safe zone.

Since I purchased it the transmitter always needed more charge. The receiver held. Now the transmitter is dropping out after about an hour and half. Not good for the money paid. I bought the mic system as well and found the transmitter on that required more charge and maintains the charge for shorter periods as well. Something's goofy here. Works great while it has a charge though.

I was never a big fan of wireless systems. Too many additional steps and extra gear to carry around. This system was very easy to set up and use. Just turn the system on and plug it in. I also like that this system is small, and you can even put it in your shirt pocket and hit the road. I’ve given up my cables and returns to the wireless world. Just got it. Easy set up and easy to use. Only issue is that the transmitter spins around in the guitar jack which creates popping and cut out of sound. There's a small rubber insert that contacts guitar surface. It small so you have to move the transmitter to a sweet spot where the rubber contacts the guitar. I like the product so far and will look to see if the transmitter moves too much.

I was able to use it straight out of the box for several hours. I walked from several rooms in my home and did not have any breakup or interference. I've used it twice during live performances and 3 times during Sunday services without any issues. I love these for my electric and acoustic guitars. They work awesome and have a great range. The only problem I have is they hum with my Les Paul ES with a piezo pickup. I have two sets and both do it on all four channels. Maybe it’s the guitar? Otherwise they’re awesome.

I bought a set for my son. He loved them immediately! They get rid of hum/buzz! He can walk out of the studio and sit in the family room and play or walk around. There is no latency. I just bought a set for myself! I've spent a lot more money on crap that is now packed away and never used. We use these all the time.

I have been wanting to put my feet in the water with wireless systems for a while. Every one seems to have different opinions, but this thing rocks. It charges quickly, holds a charge for a while, and has little to no latency. Fits well for any type of input. For $150, you can’t do better. I’d take this over the line 6 g10 any day.

I got these just to try them out, I notice no audio difference between these and a cable.

This s a bad product, it doesn't have a strong enough signal for most applications. The battery is weak and eventually needs to be replaced. It is not easy to replace. I threw mine away, what a a waste of time and money.

I ordered these on a Tuesday they arrived on Thursday I charged them up and tried then for about 10 minutes. Then used them for my weekend gig. They worked perfectly. When I came home I put them on the charger they were fully charged in less than 15 minutes. They work great. Thanks AMS for making it so easy to get fantastic equipment so easy.

I have had mine for over a year and I love it. Good enough range for me. Sounds great. They say you can't use it with active electronics, but that depends. I tried it with my Nashville Power Telecaster and got some noise. I have used it with my Epiphone acoustic which has an active preamp. No problems. I tried it with my Fender Jazz bass that has an active four band preamp and had no problems. I think you just have to give it a try and see if it works for your instrument. The thing I like best about this unit is the USB charging. I can charge them in my car on the way to rehearsal or a gig, so it's always ready to go

I was going to give my XVive U2 a four star because I did notice a wee bit of compression in my signal. Then I thought about the performance verses what I paid for ultra lightweight low cost receiver and transmitter, the ease of use, the quick recharging and finally being free from my cable. Why anyone except those playing the biggest venues would buy anything else is beyond me. I have a line 6 rack unit that I love but when playing smaller venues when space is tight this works as well as the $800 rack system. I can hear no difference and have even walked out the door of a bar gig and found not delay or latency issues whatsoever. If i HAD TO complain about something, there are occasions that I hit the transceiver with my hand and it’ll spin a little but it has never disconnected.
Bottom Line, buy this unit, whether for practice or st a venue, you won’t be disappointed!

The Xvive U2 is a great tool for playing it has very little feedback noise if any.. It got rid of our need for extra cords and cord lenth we are able to go the distances now and the battery life has been longer then we thought also charge time is quicker then I thought with my PC... I also notice I have played as far as a 100 ft away....

This is a wonderful product. It's quick and easy to charge using the included Y-shaped USB cable. The transmitter and receiver fold to accommodate most jack configurations. Just plug them in, turn them on, and they connect to each other automatically and instantly. Using it has freed me to move around when I play, which makes me more creative when practicing and songwriting. I plan to buy a second one to keep permanently on a vintage amp, to protect the input jack (which is known to short out and is difficult to repair). I've only used it within 20 feet of my amps, but never once has it cut out, died or introduced noise into my signal. I just love this Xvive wireless unit. It's one of the best tools I've ever purchased as a musician, and it costs no more than a single effects pedal!

I haven't noticed and tonal difference from this unit and my Mogami cable. I use this live every week and it hasn't failed me yet. It's easy to recharge with a any phone charging base and the cable that comes with the unit. Also a good thing to know for playing live is turning on and off makes no noise.

Been using since Jan 2018. Used only on acoustic to Bose T1. Worked great at first. Low noise, great distance, almost as good as a cable (not quite). Now, sometimes the transmitter will pickup a signal from my acoustic, and sometimes it won't. That's pretty much a bad thing live. I've messed with the different channels and there is no difference. Charging and new battery in guitar make zero difference. So far it has never just dropped out, but will not connect in the first place. The second issue is with new mixers. We have a Behringer XAir and a Soundcraft equivalent. Do NOT use these with these wireless mixers. Nightmare. All other wireless signals drop including iPad, tablet, laptop connection to the board. Turn Xvive off and you're back in business. Great concept just not ready for the real gigging world yet.

Love the cost, simplicity & form factor. Fun to try at rehearsals, but the end result isn't good enough to use in a real performance. The cons:
- Persistent, low-level noise in signal
- Sucks the tone out of bass signal. You don't notice it at first, until you change to a patch cable because of the signal-to-noise ratio. Then you hear the difference immediately
- Intermittent connectivity. The signal will cut in or out as you articulate the folding action, if that makes sense. When you move the body of the receiver or transmitter, the signal will appear or disappear. This suggests intermittent contact somewhere and may be a one-off defect, but I can't even use this in the rehearsal environment because it is unreliable. I thought I could exercise that contact enough to eliminate the problem, but that wasn't the case.
In the end, I would not recommended for any environment where reliability, noise-free signal & a solid bass tone are important.

Only had this a couple of weeks but have to say that this, by far, is the BEST wireless system i have owned. No power cords to plug in. Just charge it up with USB and your good for about six hours. Works great for me. Plan on getting another set or two in the future.

I have owend and employed many a wireless but this one takes the cake so to speak.
Very easy setup and lasts far longer than I would have imagined for a rechargeable device. Don't notice the 6 ms latency and it truly will transmit a clear signal up to 100 feet and beyond as I tested while playing and walking down the street. I live in Nashville folks so such a thing is not considered unusual. If you are in the market for a wireless that won't break the bank grab one of these xvives, you won't be sorry!

Iv'e been using line 6 wirerless guitar systems for long as they have been around . My favorite is the G50 which cost me 399.99 at the time of purchase , but ever since Iv'e bought the Xvive system I haven't used the my line six G50. The Xvive is more convenient and also easily adaptable for long play on appearances . It has low loss sound capability , and accurate in its string compression. I find it to be excellent for practicing and easy to use . In all a great purchase from AMS, and a great new product line for all Guitarist to try!!

Love it. I've used it my solid body, hollow hash and 12 string acoustic.I couldn't hear any difference in tone except when used with compressor and distortion pedals. It seemed to be a little more grainy so you may want to adjust your pedal slightly. Other than that, the freedom to move around the room without trailing a cord is fantastic.

This is my first wireless system and I can’t be happier. It’s easy to use, very compact. I love not having to carry cables around anymore except for one. I have been skipping setting up my wireless system at gigs lately because I set up PA and I needed one less thing to worry about. This is it. The Xvive gives me clear reception with no interference and about 45 seconds to set up. I don’t roam around more than 20 feet during a gig, but at home I have taken this about 50 feet to my back porch through several walls and it transmits fine.
Just turn them on, look at their little blue lights to make sure they are both on the same channel (blink blink means channel two), plug them in and start playing with no cables and no electric wire. If you use pedals you plug the receiver into the pedal and then cable to the amp, so you are wireless to the pedals.
I thought about what would happen when in time the built-in battery dies forever, but I found videos on You Tube showing how to change the built-in battery of the Xvive, so I will cross that hurdle when I get there – hopefully after many, many years.

I was a little skeptical about ordering these due to their very low price, but I am rather impressed. I have been using them quite frequently and they are awesome. Given the shape is a little weird, but that's not a big deal. They have great range and they seem to last a long time before recharging. At least four hours, but I haven't given them a field test to determine their rechargeable lifetime.
***If you have a Sustainiac pickup, they will cause a weird feedback when using the neck pickup***

I bought the Xvive U2 to use for gigs. It seems a perfect addition--no extra outlets, small, simple, etc. They arrived hours before a show. I tried them out and the only "hard" part was reading which was transmitter and which was receiver. After running around my house checking the range, I was confident. They just worked. I let them charge, put them my guitar case, and drove to the show. They worked that night perfectly and the same at another gig. Three consecutive shows this weekend to further use them. These are a great addition!

These are the 3rd set of wireless i have owned. I was very unhappy with the first two sets. Was reluctant to purchase these because of the experience with my first two wireless systems. The reviews for this product was good and I took the chance. They work as good as the reviews have stated. I still find myself looking behind me to see if the guitar chord is catching on anything, but its not there. :)

I haven't had a chance to gig with it yet. However I hooked it up on an amp and walked into other rooms in the house. I worked fine. My only concern will be the 4 hour battery life. Time will tell.

Great wireless! Charges quickly, carries good tone and eliminates cable clutter. No noticeable drop off of low end for my bass. Carry them in a compartment in your case or gig bag due to their small size.

I'd give em a 6th star if I could. Great battery life even on stand by still plugged into gear. Range and clarity are amazing. I plugged in right out of the box and started playing.. sounded great immediately. Walked down stairs and had no issues whatsoever.. I was at least 50 feet from the receiver and through both walls and a floor it played clean and flawlessly. I expected issues just due to the technology.. but it doesn't even have issues with my WiFi and my router is 3 feet from the pedal board the receiver is plugged into. Thoroughly pleased with this product. Exceeded my expectations. Now lets find out how long they stay this awesome :)

So far it works great, signal reaches pretty far as I tested it from my basement to my kitchen upstairs and I could hear my guitar through the floor, battery life it’s pretty good as well, maybe with time It'll be less effective and looks like you can’t replace the innner battery but so far it last a long time. No issues here. A velcro dot would be useful to secure the back of the transmitter to the guitar.

Very simple to use - plug and play immediately and very nice design. The rosewood is still plastic, just a wood effect. Performance: within 20’ there is no noticeable latency; however I can tell a difference sonically between this wireless system and a cabled guitar. You lose some warmth of the guitar tone. Beyond 25’ I detect latency. Overall, I’ll use it for practice/fun but not for live performances.

The Xvive U2 wireless system just plain works. It pairs super easy. It doesn't mess with your tone...rather it transmits exactly as it should. Battery life is great. I detect no latency, but I'm sure there must be a few nano-seconds of lag. I just can't detect it. And the price is right compared to other systems out there. I'm thrilled with this product.

Man this is such a freeing item to have in my chain! I hear 0 tone loss. I had some noise initially with my EMG 81 but it was because of my cell phone I think. My other guitarist and I both ordered these and have several shows and countless practices under our belts now with these suckers. Occaisonally he will get some weird noise in his but its nothing that is too annoying. For the price, its totally worth it!

I just received my Xvive wireless system. USB charged it right up, plugged it in and went to work! No body pack, no rechargeable batteries falling out of the case, and failing after an hour or so. I hope it will deliver years of good service, time will tell. I love the size.

I received this wireless at 2:30pm on Friday & used it for my gig starting at 6:30pm that evening.
When I plugged in to start the gig, my partner saw the compact size & had a puzzled look on his face. Once I got the two units on the same channel and strummed thru a couple of chords he immediately recognized the results.
The sound was clear & consistent. Even as I left the stage to hear for myself I knew this wireless gave me the results I was hoping for.
One less cable on the floor with all the mobility I would need.
If you perform in a very large venue and run thru the seating of a stadium, then you might consider a wireless with a longer range. However...if you gig in any normal stage then this wireless is the best choice.
It took about 15-20 minutes to reach a full charge. Easy to use & put away when done. It performed as expected during our 3 1/2 hour gig and our 2 hour practice a few days later.
Excellent piece of gear for any working musician. Fully recommended!!!

We play as a duo and being stuck with a 20 foot cable really limited us when it came to adjusting our sound. This set has been incredible! I use it for my bass kit. and am extremely happy with the function and performance of this wireless set.. Simple to use and NOT stepping on a cable is fantastic. I've wandered about 50 to 75 feet away and I didn't notice any loss of signal, etc. For the price I'll be ordering another set for my acoustic. Well built as well!

Excellent and affordable! No complaints. Battery life is easily 7 hours! Fits easily in case. Does not interfere with other wireless units. I wish I spent the extra nine dollars and got solid black, amp and bass are black so they grey stands out. I guess thats fine because I get pther bassists asking about it. Wish I got a commission check for my selling.

Can't give it a 5 yet because I've only used it 4 time since I got it 2 weeks ago. But it has been flawless so far. Very handy. Haven't really checked to see how long it holds a charge but I haven't had any issues playing 4-hr shows. Sound is good. So handy. Planning on getting another transmitter for a second guitar.

I've attempted to plug it direct from my acoustic guitar to the P.A. ... two separate times, two separate P.A. systems ... both times there was a noise tone frequency that I couldn't get rid of ... when I plugged it from my guitar to an amp - very clean with no problems.

I wanted a wireless system for my Basses without spending tons of money this is pretty much a plug and play situation just make sure the transmitter and receiver are on the same channel naturally. I didn't notice any real major change in my Bass tone or any loss of volume. Haven't used them long enough yet to know the battery life but I would assume it'll get you thru a few shows before a recharge however I'd just keep mines pretty much charged before each show. I tested it out by going down a hall way and outside which for me I'm sure I don't need too m,ouch more distance than that but I didn't have any loss of signal

No Bulky packs - No antenna wireless rack mount - no batteries to buy - No Sound difference or loss when performing Live! They charge very quickly and my Kemper Profiler has a USB built in so I could charge them between sets! But I performed live last weekend and played 5 - 30 minute sets and they were still charged! For the money they ROCK!!!
