sounds and feels so authentic. I tried a few other high end stage pianos but kept coming back to the CP4. I know its not the best stage piano on paper, but when you play it that goes out the window. Sounds fantastic and the keys are amazingly natural and authentic to play. I am so happy I chose this in the end. I took advantage of the rebate. I am so happy because I wanted the MP7 originally because of low price but I did not wan to risk the poor quality. Now I did not have too with CP4.

Product Review
I wanted a Kawai MP7 but wanted to try other brands as well. I demod both sided by side CP4 and MP7 and this is what happened.
- Sound: was pretty much a tie. Just a matter of taste. both sound great in their own respect. CP4 acoustic piano more pleasant than MP7. MP7 a bit harsh.
- Action: Both nice. CP4 had a more authentic feel and touch. MP7 was very good but odd mechanical noise.
- Quality: Kawai seemed solid but clunky and obsolete with all the metal and wood. Just too heavy but nice looking. However, keys seemed to be loose or clicky - again something mechanical that I cant seem to explain. Something about Kawai quality just seems average at best. CP4 is lightweight and heavy duty build for sure. Even with its retro design it seems so contemporary. Completely confident with this board. I could not stop going to it over the MP7. I love playing this board,
CP4 is superior to MP7 in quality and sound which is why I am thrilled to proudly own one n. See for yourself!

Too much money for what you get

Product Review
I returned CP4 for a Kawai MP7. The CP4 is ok but cheaply made, awkward programming, not string resonance, and overrated action with semi wood keys. I really wanted and tried to like it but it's just such an annoying stage piano after a few weeks. Then I could not stop thinking how much I spent for such mediocre quality. Thumbs down!
Very Very Very pleased with my MP7. Please don't make my mistake and go through the return hassle. Compare for yourself and Kawai wins in every category in my opinion and for hundreds less!
