I am an experienced sound engineer for decades and I’ve used most brands of passive and powered. The DXR 12’s are the real deal. DSP is effective, Sound is excellent, good high/low balance and high SPL. I recommend these speakers for a variety of applications, SoundGeeks Richmond VA

I love this powered speaker. Not the cheapest but well worth the price! Great Sound, Very Clear & Powerful.
Yamaha's collaboration with NEXO has resulted in (my opinion) one of the best 12" powered cabs on the market! Offering an on-board 3-ch mixer section, dual handles, attractive looks, superb fit and finish, and most important...amazing sound! Loud, clear, undistorted, with real nice bass output. These 12" cabs will have no problem rocking 150 - 200 guests. Add Two of these and you can rock with 500 guests or a bit more. Add subs (DXS Series) To give it more low punch if you need even thought it does have nice lows as a stand alone. I have two of the 15" of these DXR series too and they too are awesome. Yamaha has done a great job with these speakers.

I love this powered speaker. Not the cheapest but well worth the price! I always tried saving money and it cost me in performance. Not the case here. Very pleased.

Your general opinion of this product.
I researched these for a couple of months and found that these are great sounding speakers
Very Dependable
plug & play .. very easy to use.
I like it that they have the flexibility to be main/monitor and multiple routing options.

Built-in fan keeps everything cool.Way to go Yamaha!
