I had an ancient I entered Mackie board, was playing an outdoor gig barely had enough juice. The Mackie after almost 2 decades of service finally quit. I ordered the yamaha 16 mixer. My power was set at the same venue 11:00 on the lows and 2:00 on the highs ( I'm bi-amped) but the deals is my faders were on 4 to 5 for vocals and 3 to 4 on drums and amps. Clean head room out the ass. Plus the convenience of USB straight to my recording software. On another note I bought a Firebird 1 silvermist had it about 40 days when I noticed the dreaded gibson death fracture. I called AMS. They not only took the firebird back they nextday aired a replacement to me. If you need gear and want the customer service that is unmatched among online order company's, do yourself a favor check American Music Supply. They have a customer for life in me. Give me a call if you think I'm not a verified customer

So far this is a great mixer with just about every feature I need. It has enough mic inputs for the entire band and the effects are pretty good, at least at low volume. I've never owned a full sized mixer for professional use so I feel there's going top be a learning curve when it comes to the monitor setup but overall I think this piece of gear is just what I needed.

Haven’t gotten a new mixer in a while always mess with older ones so it took me a bit to figure out how to activate the mics for sound. Do me a favor just read the instructions first! Haha pretty much figured 90% of it out and it’s great perfect and love the effects that comes with it! ??????

Product works exactly as expected, compressor works great, eq’s are intuitive and effective, and love that it came with 3 aux’s and 1 return for fx. Very light and easy to handle, and am excited to use the usb output for recording live shows. Great, simple to use, product that I would recommend to others.

I'm still figuring out some of the features and trying to find how to really utilize the USB function to it's full potential but besides that this nice has really upped my game. I have purchased a lot of DJ equipment from AMS and this nice has helped me to combine all of them into my workflow. Thank you AMS and thank you Yamaha! Solid product!

I have had drinks spilled on my board into the faders, a little fader cleaner and back to work. I used to go thru sound boards like every 9 months until I got a Yamaha. The one I am using now is three years old. The only reason I get a new one is that there just looking shabby. Great job Yamaha.
