Product Review I love this thing, thaks to a music store about 2 hours away from my home, I went there and demo'd this before making my decision, I also demo'd Kronos and roland. I have a Yamaha Motif Classic 8, and never felt the need to upgrade because the classic was nice....What grabbed my attention was the updates to the Firewire option and the Flash Board, where you can store your own sounds. This Keyboard is nice! I think this product is great quality and i will probably have this for many many years to come...Works with different genres. When demoing the product, I made modifications to sounds and used the sequencer and built a performance without reading the manual, but that may be because they made it alot like the motif Classic. The Flash is the beast! 128 MB onboard Wonderful Motif! The best feel of all time....Love the 8 sliders! I think this board has all you need and the price point is great if you plan to keep it for a long time. I think it is more for Gospel/Jazz/R&B/Funk

good quality, you will not regret if you get it. So easy if you play it live, no learning curve in the voice mode, there is a learning curve if you want to record, sequence, and use it as studio. it's not a feature but, I thing the best are the quality of the sounds. Definetly amazed with this instrument. great value!

I've bought Yamaha products for the last 17 years an never had a problem The best feature are the sounds and key action, screen interface. A few more Fhodes sounds and chorus strings would enhance. Very versitile, so there is a learning curve if you want to do more than just play. Realistic and usuable. Best action any keyboard under $6500 dollars period. Considering the features 3K is a good deal.
