Had the s115v for years. Always loved how clean they sound. Was thinking about getting a sub got these instead. Omg they bang hard and also are very clean even at low volume. I'm only putting 750 watts into them each. Absolutely love them. Made in USA

The Yamaha Club V series of speakers are all very well made. The very first time I ever loaded my subs in a trailer, I was pulling one of them up the trailer ramp on a dolly. I wasn't looking at the speaker and let it roll off the dolly. It went tumbling three of four turns down the ramp and out onto the ground. Other than knocking a little bit of the finish off of the metal corner protector, they were no worse for wear and still played great! They are pretty much indestructable for the most part. Workmanship is also very obvious (obviously well made).
These speakers move a lot of air. They are full range speakers and can fill an auditorium with sound with no problem. I have played concerts in a 600 seat auditorium, a large outdoor pavilion, and a 250 seat room. Yet I keep them stored in my bedroom and even use them there on occasion. They are the most versatile and awesome speakers on the planet. I wouldn't have anything else beside Yamaha Club speakers. My system currently consists of a pair of these bad boys matched with a pair of S118V subs and a pair of SM15V floor monitors. I just doesn't get any better than that.
These are super easy to set up. The only drawback is their physical size and weight. They are big speakers (just under 4 feet tall). When two are stacked on top of each other, they just about reach the 8' ceiling in my house. They do however, move very, very easily with a dolly. I would recommend having a dolly on hand for sure. I've moved them in a van, in an enclosed trailer, and the back of my truck. They transport well standing up as long as you have them against something solid and strapped down tight. I wouldn't transport them upright without having them strapped. Otherwise lay them down on their side and they transport well that way also. they are heavy (well over 100 lb I believe - but easily moved by two persons, or one person with a dolly).
Their tone is full bodied and rich. They sound great for all genres of music. They can both rock the house as well as play beautifully mellow and rich music. You can't go wrong with these.
