Decent modeling amp for practice

Product Review In full disclosure, I have never tried to mess with the editor or software. The amp has decent presets but I honestly use it on clean with my pedal board. The aux in is nice, as is the headphone out, but Bluetooth should’ve been included.

Product Review This amp absolutely rocks! I was skeptical at first but wow...not anymore! You can dial in many different amp models, tones, etc. from AC/DC to Amon Amarth. This little baby does it all! Great features & sounds for such a small amp...& for the price? It can’t be beat! Also, it looks amazing! I love the led’s that simulate tube glow. If you’re looking for a great practice amp or you’re on the fence about this one...don’t hesitate...get it now! You won’t be disappointed! ??

Product Review I live in a small apartment and this thing is perfect. It's my amp and my computer speaker and my TV surround sound. It has such good sound. Such clarity and respose. It's not just great for your guitar. It does it all. But for my guitars. My Gibson Les Paul sound great in every channel. My acoustic is pure and my sg is an AC/DC killer. I have an ESP I can't master yet but give me time. If you have a small place it's perfect. I haven't taken it out yet but in due time. It gets plenty loud. You won't regret buying it.

Product Review If you don't like bringing your main rig back and forth or if you travel a lot and need a quick set up when you feel like practicing then this amp is perfect for you. The stereo effect it produces gives you a full and lush sound. More magic comes in when you hook up the amp to your computer and download patches online. The editor gives you way more control over frequencies so you can dial the specific tone in your head. The THR10 can do great hard rock sounds and jazzy cleans. It can also record direct in if you want to track something on the fly. Once again, great PRACTICE amp. I use it while connected to my laptop using USB and I can jam to backing tracks on youtube. All sound comes out of the amp. It also has modes for Bass guitar and Acoustic.

Product Review Every aspect of this amplifier just wreaks of quality. From the all metal chassis, metal input jacks, and metal handle to the stunning quality of the audio that this thing produces. This amp inspires you to practice. Cleans are great, all the overdriven channels are amazing, and the effects are not an after thought. The effects are all studio quality. Very easy amp to use, and a welcome addition to my collection. Thanks AMS for another quality product!!

Product Review This is a pretty impressive little piece of technology as far as I'm concerned. It might be classified as a multi-amplifier modeler. The sounds it will produce are probably a matter of taste. Combined with a Line 6 DL4 I was doing some jamming at home using a Fender Telecaster which some people might consider 'twangy' but I like it. The point is had I mixed it with some vintage performances by The Who, not pumping myself up too high and not at the more skillful level Peter Townshend plays at, yet to a good extent, using this amp, one would be hard pressed to say for certain which part was actually being played by The Who and which was the mix I could have added. I haven't tried jacking directly into a sound board through the earphone jack yet, but that could get done today. Would I recommend this? Absolutely. I think it is an incredible little amp with a finite but extremely large number of possibilities for sound creation. This is not for the stiff, one-dimensional types.

Product Review Have you ever come across a product that absolutely shocks you. I have and if you have then you will know what I'm talking about. When you think of guitar amps most likely you say fender, marshall, vox, Mesa boogie, Roland etc. But have you ever said yamaha! Me either! All I can tell you is the sound quality is outstanding from such a small practice amp. The best way to explain it would be to say it is the Bose of guitar amps. If you want a small practice amp with amazing sound that's full and loud and great build quality, you need to test drive this amp and it will open your eyes and lay all your doubts to rest.

Your general opinion of this product. This is indeed a superb personal practice amp! It's one of the most practical and functional pieces of gear I've ever purchased. I've owned this for less than a week and already have close to 20 hours play time with these beastie! I may get another one of these soon. The construction is nice and it's remarkably light. amplifier This is where I was really surprised. It's very easy to get desirable tone at modes volume levels with this amp. Just to highlight a few things --- The "modern" channel has a great compressed, high-gain array of tones. I'm not disappointed at all. The "Brit" channel also has a ton of gain but with less compression and offers more headroom than he "modern" channel. I love it. Highly desirable. The "Crunch" channel may be my favorite so far. It goes from very subtle break up to deep Texas blues. Very satisfying. --- The on-board effects are very simple but very fun. The tap tempo button will allow you to tweak your delays speeds. Honestly, the integrated effects are as good or better than you'd expect in any combo amplifier generally speaking. its an amplifier I got the original THR with the "cream" face. It looks great! A nice melding of vintage styling and modern features. Only had this little guy for about a week but expect it will hold up nicely.

Big Tones in a Small Box

It's housed in a sturdy plastic enclosure, which makes the tones all the more astounding. How can plastic sound so good? Seems reasonably sturdy. Being a klutz, I've dropped it twice already. NO problems. I've only owned it for two weeks! Your general opinion of this product. The THR is exactly what I was looking for; a great apartment practice/recording amp. I rarely push the guitar volume ( overall volume) past 5 and it sounds nice and full. The first true 'bedroom/living room' amp! I use the Clean, Crunch and my favorite, the Lead channels the most. Really inspiring tones. The Yamaha hype is right, I am playing more.
