Product Review What can I say, I'm in love with this ride cymbal. I was playing a zildjian "20 a custom medium ride. The a custom is brighter, but lacks the versatility and crash ability that 23"sweet ride offers. I thoroughly enjoy playing this cymbal. There is so many sounds you can get out of this cymbal. It can bang out some heavy rock music, but still responsive enough for jazz and lighter music. IMO best ride out there for me as well as most players. Buy it, you'll love it too.

Product Review I’ve played many brands of cymbals. I now have Zildjian A series A customs and the new S series. All sound great together for many different tones and sounds.

Product Review I bought this cymbal because a couple of my favorite drummers use it. I needed something that would be show ready and let me tell you it was. Of all the ride cymbals I’ve had in my years of playing I’ve never loved the sound of one as much as this. It crashes well, has a great pingy Bell, and can crash rather effectively. I couldn’t recommend this cymbal more that I am right now. Among with playing in a 90s rock cover band I also play with an Americana folk band and it works for both. I don’t think this cymbal could be anymore versatile.

Product Review This is a very nice, clean sounding ride. It's best suited for modern jazz, big band, soft rock, country, and some classic rock. If you are looking for a metal/rock ride (something that cuts through the mix) than this is not the cymbal for you. Definitely suited for intricate/technical work. It has a good wash, with dark overtones, a good shimmer, and a distinctive, but not overpowering ping sound on the bell. There isn't a ride cymbal out there that does everything well, but this is definitely usable in 2/3 of the situations you might come across, if you play all genres of music. I'd say well worth the money; also records well.
