Product Rating Product Review I upgraded my Alesis Strike Pro electric drum kit with the 20" Strike Pro SE bass drum and did away with the cage. It was at this moment I came across the old 2015 Zildjian gen16 technology for metal cymbals rather than the rubber cymbal triggers that ship with all electronic drums. And to add cymbal stands since I lost 4 cymbal mounts by removing the cage. I read a review for the L80 low volume cymbal used with the gen16 microphone/contact pick-up gen16 system. I was amazed at the new hybrid sounds using the drum module together with the gen16 controller. Since I was a late comer to the Zildjian gen16 I had to piece together a system from multiple sources. As for the cymbals, I got these new through AMS at a great price. I'm very happy with the sound and the new look of my Alesis strike Pro kit. Actually the kit now looks like an acoustic kit! Happy Practicing Everyone!

Product Review Have put off buying an electronic set because of the rubber cymbals but these convinced me to get some!

Product Review Zildjian low volume sound cymbals are top of the line. Sound quality is excellent without sacrificing the feel of standard cymbals. Zildjian put a lot of research into manufacturing this line and I find nothing negative. This is my second set of low volume cymbals. Zildjian also has a 18 inch china in this line. These cymbals have met my expectations. They look both fantasist and expensive which adds complements to any drum set.

very quiet cymbals, maybe a little too quiet

Product Review These cymbals are well made and look cool. The volume level is perfect on the ride cymbal and the hi-hats. But I wish the crash cymbal had a little more "zing" to it. It's a little bit too quiet. If I had to buy again, I'd probably go with the Sabian quiet cymbals instead. However, if you need really quiet cymbals (if you lived in an apartment), these would be perfect.

Product Review I was skeptical in purchasing these. My roommates have been very sensitive to my normal drums and cymbals in the past. Despite my reservations, I decided to pull the trigger on these after being quarantined. Paired with the Remo Silentstroke heads, my kit is now very tolerable and I have had no complaints! The cymbals feel and play like normal cymbals, leading to a seamless transition from my normal kit to my practice kit. Looking forward to adding the splash and china variants to round out the setup!

Product Review I bought these cymbals for noise reduction as I live in a place where noise is an issue, I like playing my drums at night and needed a solution. I didn’t like the feel of padded electronic cymbals so I went with these and I am super happy with my purchase. They feel like normal cymbals and actually sound pretty good, the hi hats have a nice sizzle to them and play and feel like normal ones. Now I can jam at night and not bother anyone, they still make noise but a big reduction. AMS shipped them out next day with super fast delivery, great service.

Product Review These take down the overall volume of a cymbal by about 75%, and they actually feel and swing like real cymbals. Perfect for practicing or small gigs. These cymbals will save your hearing as well! Great job Zildjian!

Product Review These cymbals allow me to practice in near silence with my practice pad set...excellent for working out parts realistically (much better than rubber practice cymbals). These even complement electronic percussion sounds. Well done Zildjian!
